Melbourne Stars and Adelaide Strikers will lock horns in the second clash of the season. With the first faceoff being won by the Strikers, courtesy the trio of Alex Carey (45), Jonathan Wells (68) and Peter Siddle (3/24). With Alex Carey all set to join the squad following the conclusion of the 3-match ODIs against India, the Men in Blue now appear as a solid unit that could squash the Melbourne Stars in the coming duel, and grab a seat in the eliminators.
Meanwhile, Adam Zampa and Peter Handscomb have also returned from the international tour and would look to make up for their absence in the game at Adelaide. Stars, who are seated at the top of the points table, suffered a 21-run defeat in the recent outing against Sixers and will be hoping to bounce back in the coming T20.
