Batting was near perfect and the bowlers also kept the pressure on the Sri Lankans right through the game. Lanning would want her girls to carry on with the same momentum in the next game. Beth Mooney played a stunning knock of 113 runs to deflate the Sri Lankan bowlers. She found good support from her opening partner Alyssa Healy and Ashleigh Gardner.
