It is game 15 at the Vincy Premier League, 2020, and the Botanic Gardens Rangers would be up against the Fort Charlotte Strikers.
The Botanic Gardens Rangers have won two out of their four games so far and a win here will improve their position in the points table. The Fort Charlotte Strikers are yet to earn their first win and the side is going down the barrel at the moment.
It was a big loss for the Rangers in the last game where they suffered a 49 run loss to the Salt Pond Breakers while the Fort Charlotte Strikers went down against the La Soufriere Hikers unable to handle the pressure. It remains to be seen if the Strikers are able to turn the tide in this game.

It was a below-par show from Kesrick Williams’ side in the last game against the Salt Pond Breakers where they ended up losing by 49 runs in a game where their batsmen and bowlers failed equally. They are up against an out of form side and Williams would be looking to use that opportunity and win this one.
Atticus Browne and Hyron Shallow must provide a positive start to the side and Shallow has shown good form so far in the tournament. Romel Currency, Kevin Abraham, and Joey Welcome are good hitters of the ball and they will look to bring their striking abilities to good effect in the next game.
Their bowlers went for plenty of runs in the last game and Kesrick Williams will need to lead from the front in the next game. Kimali Williams and Kenneth Dember have done well in previous games and they will look to draw inspiration from those performances. The likes of Romario Bibby and Casnel Morris need to support them well.
It was another lackluster show from Keron Cottoy’s team in the last game against the La Soufriere Hikers which the side ended up losing by 11 runs. With four losses behind their back Cottoy will need to lift up the spirits of the side in the next game. One more loss would kill all their hopes of reaching the semifinals.
Their batting looks shaky at the moment and most of their batsmen have been inconsistent. Cottoy and Gidron Pope need to deliver a good start for the side to win. Renrick Williams and Kirton Lavia played well in the last game and shall look to continue their form. The side will look at the likes of Chelson Stowe and Olanzo Billingy to play good hands in the final overs.
Ray Jordan has been the standout performer with the ball for the side and other than him none of the other bowlers have done well in the tournament. The side will need a good show with the ball from the likes of Rasheed Fredericks, Stowe, and skipper Cottoy in the next game.

There are predictions for slight cloud cover and showers over St Vincent on May 26. The bowlers might find some assistance thanks to the weather but overall it is a very good surface to bat on at the moment and the side batting first will have to target score in excess of 100 runs.
Arnos Vale Sporting Complex, St. Vincent is a small ground and the batsmen have always enjoyed batting as they can strike the ball without any fear. There is some assistance for the fast bowlers early on in the game while the spinners have been able to take advantage of the fact that the oddball turns and bounces.
Sides that have batted first in the last six games have ended up winning the games. The pitch is good to bat on and teams prefer to set scores and defend them. In the next game the side that wins the toss is most likely to bat first.
The Fort Charlotte Strikers have looked very ordinary in all the games that they have played so far and haven’t managed to throw up a challenge for their opponents. The Botanic Gardens Rangers on the other hand have won two games and lost as many but the side has competed well so far in the tournament. It is expected to be a close contest but Botanic Gardens Rangers are definitely the better side and look favorites to win this one.
