In the 25th match of IPL 2020, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal challengers Bangalore (RCB) will take on each other on Monday at Dubai Cricket Stadium. The last year runner-up team CSK had a very disappointing season of IPL as they could win just two out of six games and currently placed at fifth place on the table. The biggest concern for the CSK is their middle-order batting. On the other hand, opening duo of Shane Watson and Duplessis is in great touch and provide a solid opening stand for the team. As the tournament moving into the second half of the league, CSK can't afford to lose more games, they need to bounce back and play as a group to register a win against batting-heavy RCB.
On the other hand, RCB did a great job to get three wins from five games. Their batting looks formidable with the likes of Kohli, AB AB de Villiers and A Finch in their ranks. Opening batsman, D Padikkal had a great start to his IPL career with RCB; youngster already smashed three fifties from five games and has been a key architect for RCB’s success so far. Besides, In the ongoing season RCB death bowling also looked quite up to the mark which was RCB’s major concern last year. RCB skipper Virat Kohli and co would be very content following their earlier performances and they would be hoping to carry on the good form and keep the momentum.

CSK team led by former Indian skipper MS Dhoni bounced back stupendously earlier after three defeat in a row and winning a game with 10 wickets in hand. However, chasing a target of just 168 they lost the game by 10 runs and lose the winning momentum. Usually, CSK is very best in business and it is very rare in the history of IPL very CSK lost so many games from the first six. However, CSK team would be buoyant following the good form of Veteran S Watson in the previous two games; Watson smashed two fifties in the last two games. His opening partner and Proteas former skipper Faf du Plessis is the leading scorer for CSK; smashed 299 runs at a staggering average of 74.75. He is currently second in leading scorer list. Notably, Duplessis smashed three fifties from five games. Ones again, the responsibility will be on the opening duo to provide a solid opening stand. Ambati Raydu is another solid Indian batsman in their rank; he played match-winning knock of 48 balls 71 in the season opener. He is a very good player of spin and pace and, can take the game away from opponent ones get going.
Worryingly for them, the usually solid power-hitter MS Dhoni has looked slightly rusty in earlier games of the season, however, he is a most capped IPL player and scored a plethora of runs. He will be eying for the big inning to get back in the groove. Another middle-order batsman, Kedar Jadhav looks completely out of form and there won't be any surprise if CSK replaces him with another batsman. Bowling unit comprising of Deepak Chahar, S Curran and S Thakur did a decent job. D Chahar and S Curran took 14 wickets amongst them. Spinner Karn Sharma bowled an outstanding spell of 2 for 25 and DJ bravo also picked three wickets in the previous game.

The weather forecast in Dubai on Saturday will be shinny and very warm with low humidity. The track at Dubai stadium tends to be a good wicket for batting upfront. However, as the game progresses it is expected to get slower. 160 will be par score on this ground.
The match will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai
From the last five IPL T20 played at the same venue, four times batting first has defended the score whereas in one match chasing team won. Hence, considering the track and pat records, both the team will look to bat first and put a good score on board.
A look at the current form of both the team, RCB looks more balanced and stronger compared to CSK. Unlike CSK, RCB is not relying on a few individual and also they have more power-hitter compared to CSK. Hence, RCB will have an advantage going into this game.
We predict RCB will win this match.
