It is the 4th game at the Vincy Premier League 2020 and the Dark View Explorers would be taking on the La Soufriere Hikers. Both teams are coming into this game after winning their opening games of the season.
The Explorers won against the Fort Charlotte Strikers while the Hikers overcame the challenge posed by the Botanical Gardens Rangers in what was a one-sided show. The two sides have shown good form with the bat in their previous game which will make this one an engaging contest. While the Hikers’ bowling attack looked in excellent form it wasn’t that good a display from the Explorers and they will need to make improvements on this front to match up to the challenge in the next game.

It was an impressive start to the season for Lindon James’ side as they registered an exciting 8-wicket win against the Fort Charlotte Strikers in their opening game. James would want his side to continue with their momentum in the next game against the La Soufriere Hikers who also showed good form in their first game.
Openers Deron Greaves and Kensley Joseph looked in good form in the last game stitching together a good stand. Skipper Lindon James played a match-winning knock with Andrew Thomas also looking good in the last game. They have good batting to follow with Shammon Hooper, Denson Hoyte and Kody Horne to follow and these players will be eager to perform in the next game.
Darius Martin bowled exceedingly well in the last game bowling at an unbelievable economy rate picking two wickets. He will look for a similar start in the next game with new ball partner Kemron Strough. Sealron Williams, Greaves and Davian Barnum shall need to offer good support in the middle overs for the side to trouble the strong batting line-up their opponents have.
Desron Maloney’s side made the biggest headline on the first day of the tournament with a big win over the Botanical Gardens Rangers. The 9-wicket win was a story of complete dominance where the Hikers were on the money right from the start. Maloney would want his side to carry on with the same form in the next game.
Desron Maloney played a fiery knock to take his side to victory with his opening partner Salvan Browne also making a good contribution. The pair will be looking to put up a similar show in the next game.
In Dillon Douglas, Rawdon Bentick, and Camano Cain the side has good hitters down the order and they shall look to make the opportunity count in the next game.
Othneil Lewis and Jeremy Haywood were the pick of the bowlers in the last game and they shall look to carry on with the same show in the next game. However, they will be up against a stronger batting line-up and must maintain their line and length. The likes of Dean Browne, Rayan Williams, and Kenson Dalzell shall also have to bowl tighter lines in the next game.

The skies would be clear over St. Vincent on May 23 with odd clouds. The pitch has some grass over it which is offering assistance to the fast bowlers and making batting a challenge. Batsmen would need to be watchful on this wicket and the side that bats first would be eyeing a score of 100-110 runs to feel comfortable.
The small size of the ground at Arnos Vale Sporting Complex, St. Vincent with the boundary ropes being pulled in makes it a great venue for the hitters. The bowlers also get some assistance from the surface. Spinners have also done well here as the ball tends to stop a bit on the batsmen.
All three games have so far gone in favor of the sides that have bowled first with the wicket offering some assistance to the bowlers. Hence we believe the side that wins the toss in this game is in all likelihood to invite the opponents to bat first on this surface.
It will be a big battle between two sides which have started the tournament on a positive note in their respective opening games. While the Dark View Explorers were clinical in their opening game it was a dominating win for the La Soufriere Hikers. The Hikers bowled well in the last game and given the number of power hitters they have in the squad we expect them to start favorites in the next game.
