It was a good win for Lindon James’ side in the last game which came at the back of two losses. They scripted an impressive 6-run win over the Grenadines Divers holding their nerves in the final overs. James would know that his side is up against the best side in the tournament and would want his players to give out their best in the field.
At the top of the order Deron Greaves and Shamon Hooper look in good form and Hooper’s return to form is good news for the side. The middle order is packed with good hitters of the ball in the likes of Lindon James, Andrew Thomas, and Davium Barnum and these players will need to do well against the quality bowling line-up that the Breakers have.
Their bowlers did a good job in the last game holding onto their nerves with James and Sealron Williams bowling extremely tight spells in the game. The side will need a good show with the new ball from the likes of Deron Greaves and Darius Martin against a quality batting line-up.
Sunil Ambris’ team is on a march at the moment and they are winning games by annihilating their opponents. They won the last game against the Botanic Gardens Rangers by a big margin of 49 runs and shall look to carry on with their same form in the next game and book a berth in the semi-finals.
Sunil Ambris and Kadir Nedd are in top form and for the second time in as many games they set up a match-winning partnership in the last game. The side will expect a good start from them. In the middle order they have quality players in Donwell Hector, Urnel Thomas, and Benninton Stapleton who can make quick runs in the game.
Their bowlers had a good day in the last game with Ambris standing out with his economical spell. Javid Harry and Delorn Johnson also bowled extremely well and this adds to the strength of the side. They will expect a good show from Wesrick Strough and Jeremy Layne in the next game.

There are predictions for cloud cover and slight showers over St Vincent on May 26. This might be something that the bowlers would cheer after the pitch turned flat in the last few days. The pitch looks a good one to bat on and the side that bats first will have to target a score in excess of 100 runs.
Arnos Vale Sporting Complex, St. Vincent is a small ground and the batsmen have always enjoyed batting as they can strike the ball without any fear. There is some assistance for the fast bowlers early on in the game while the spinners have been able to take advantage of the fact that the oddball turns and bounces.
In the last six games at this venue the story has been of the sides batting first and winning the games. In this format the side that bats first on a good wicket always has the advantage and we expect the captain winning the toss in having no hesitation in batting first.
The Salt Pond Breakers have been on a roll so far in the tournament and have won all their four games so far. A win in this game would almost seal a berth for them in the semi-finals and they will be aiming for this. The Dark View Explorers are coming into this game after a good win and this will add to their confidence. It is expected to be a close contest between the two sides but the Salt Pond Breakers would start favorites in this game.
