Host England will be looking to extend their winning streak at home when they face Pakistan in the second game of the series at The Rose Bowl in Southampton.
England Captain Joe Root will be pleased with his remarkable comeback in the opening game of the series played at Manchester. The side will be looking to make changes to their playing XI for this game.

In their first innings, opening pair of Dominic Sibley and Rory Burns perished for low scores. Joe Root also failed to make a big score for the side.
Ollie Pope was the star of the show with the bat for England in the first innings. He scored 62 runs off 117 balls with the help of eight boundaries. Besides Pope, wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler and tail-ender Stuart Broad produced scores of 38 and 29 respectively.
Chasing 277 run for victory, opener Rory Burns perished for a low score to see England get off to a shaky start. Dominic Sibley and Joe Root came together and put on 64-run partnership to rebuild the innings for the home side.
Dominic Sibley did all the hard work and perished after scoring 36 runs off 114 balls with the help of four boundaries.
Ben Stokes, Joe Root and Ollie Pope perished in quick succession to see England struggling at 117 for 5 after 44.5 overs.
Wicket-keeper Jos Buttler and all-rounder Chris Woakes came together and decided to launch a counter-attack on the Pakistani bowlers. The ploy worked as duo put on a match-winning partnership of 139 runs to see England in a strong position to win the match.
For England, All-rounder Chris Woakes was the star player with the bat in the second innings. He smashed 84 not out off 120 balls with the help of 10 boundaries. He was well supported by Buttler, who chipped in with a fluent 75 off 101 balls with the help of 7 fours and 1 six.
In the bowling department, Stuart Broad was once again the pick of the bowlers with six wickets to his name. Jofra Archer, Chris Woakes and Ben Stokes also claimed key wickets for England in the opening game played at Manchester.

The visitors will rue the fact that they should have won this game against England. Skipper Azhar Ali will be hoping that the side can learn from their mistakes and put in an improved performance at The Rose Bowl in Southampton.
In their first innings, Pakistan managed to post competitive 326 runs, courtesy Shan Masood’s brilliant 156. Left-hander certainly showed how to play in these conditions and smashed 18 fours and two sixes in his innings.
Besides Shan Masood, Babar Azam looked fluent in his innings of 69. He smashed 11 boundaries. Bowling all-rounder Shadab Khan also scored 45 runs off 76 balls with the help of three boundaries.
In their second innings, Masood failed to replicate his heroics and perished for a duck. His opening partner, Abid Ali once again failed to capitalize on his good start and scored 20 runs off 46 balls.
Skipper Azhar Ali once again was dismissed by an in-coming delivery from Chris Woakes. Skipper will need to deliver in the remaining games if Pakistan aims to keep the series alive at Southampton.
Asad Shafiq and Mohammad Rizwan also failed to make most of the opportunity and produced scores of 29 and 27 respectively.
Leg-spinner Yasir Shah showed a lot of guts and determination with the bat. He was the top-scorer for the side with 33 runs off 24 balls. Due to his efforts, Pakistan managed to push their beyond 150 runs in the second innings.
In the bowling department, Leg-spinner Yasir Shah was the standout bowler for Pakistan. He claimed eight wickets in the match. Besides Shah, Mohammad Abbas, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah bowled well in patches.
