CRICBETTINGBUZZ PREDICTION: Australia Women to win this game
T&Cs apply, 18+
The going has been extremely tough for England Women in the Ashes series so far and they are staring at a loss of face in front of their home crowd. The side has failed to win even a single game so far in the series and worst of all they have not even put up a tough fight. For Australia Women, it has been a walk in the park so far in the series where they have just dominated their opponents in all the departments.
The English side has good players but in the series so far they haven’t played well as a unit. Individual brilliance hasn’t seen them cross the finishing line. Having already lost the T20 series the team will have to play for pride in the next game. The skipper would want her girls to get over their mental roadblock and finish what has been a sorry series so far on a winning note.

Heather Knight wouldn’t want to be in her shoes at the moment. The side suffered another huge defeat in the 2nd T20 thus losing the series 2-0. It was another bad effort with the bat that saw them going down in the last game. Knight would want to see her batters play to their potential in the next game.
Tammy Beaumont was the only batter who held her crease in the game as the rest of the batters didn’t seem to have answers to the Australia bowlers. The likes of Amy Ellen Jones, Danielle Wyatt and Natalie Sciver haven’t lived up to their reputation in the series and need to do well. Knight along with Lauren Winfield and Katherine Brunt will have to bat well towards the end of the innings for her team to do well.
Sophie Ecclestone bowled well in the last game but the rest of the bowling attack failed to apply pressure on the Aussie Girls. Georgia Elwiss and Kate Cross had a poor day with the ball and so did Brunt. They will need to put up better show with the ball to challenge the strong batting line-up that the Aussies have.

Meg Lanning’s team is having a great Ashes tournament and they would be looking to finish the tour with a win. There would be nothing as magnificent for the side as winning the T20 series 3-0 after having done so in the ODIs. Lanning would want her girls not to be complacent going into the next game.
It was again a great batting show from Meg Lanning and Ellyse Perry. The duo has batted well on this tour. Alyssa Healy also looked good during her cameo in the game. The side has a very strong batting line-up going into this game with Beth Mooney, Ashleigh Gardner and Rachael Haynes in the side and they would look to challenge the English bowlers.
The side bowled in the last game and didn’t allow the English girls off the hook. Georgia Wareham and Jess Jonassen were brilliant with the ball and bowled extremely tight lines. Ellyse Perry has had a great tour with the ball and with Megan Schutt and Sophie Molineux in the attack, the bowling looks very strong for the side.

There might be slight showers at Bristol on July 31 and the weather is most likely to remain on the heavier side. The pitch would be a good one to bat on as we have seen in the last few games at this venue. Batters need to be watchful in the initial overs where the new ball is likely to move around.
VENUE
County Ground, Bristol has seen several high scoring encounters in the last few games. It is a good wicket to bat on where the ball comes on to the bat nicely. Fast bowlers get early assistance from the surface but it becomes a good surface to bat as the ball gets little older.
The weather conditions are likely to assist the fast bowlers in the initial part of the game and this would make it little tough to bat early. We expect the skipper winning the toss deciding to bowl first on this surface. If there are rains it would put the side batting second in an advantage.
Host England Women have only pride to play for in the 3rd T20i against Australia Women. They haven’t been able to win a single game in this series and have looked short of confidence. For Australia Women, it has been a great run and they would like to finish this one in style and make it 3-0. Going into the game the Australian girls would be overwhelming favorites to win this one.
