Guyana Amazon Warriors, one of the most successful CPL franchise in the history of CPL is slowly getting back into the groove. With the likes of Ross Taylor and Chris Green in the side, Warriors got plenty of experience in their unit. Following a failure in three games in a row, Warrior got back to winning ways, courtesy outstanding knock of Nichlos Pooran. Warriors got two of the best windies youngsters in their ranks, Shimron Hetmyer and Nicholas Pooran. Both batsmen made their mark in international and T20 leagues by their power-hitting and match-winning ability.
Nichlos Pooran smashed the best score on CPL2020 and his individual highest T20 score of 100 in just 45 balls in the last games. Nicholas Pooran is currently second-highest run-scorer in the ongoing tournament; smashed 206 runs from seven games at an average of 34.33 and a staggering strike rate of 152. Whereas Hetmyer supported him well from other end scoring 170 runs from seven games which include two fifties. Batting duo will be aiming to carry on the good form and win more games for the Warriors. Kiwis great Ross Taylor played his role to perfections by holding wicket at one end.

Barbados Tridents started a CPL 2020 season with a bang however in the later games the defending champion has failed to live up to the expectation. Besides, St Lucia Zouks add insult to injury for Tridents as they lost a game by three runs while chasing a score the lower score of 93. Now, with just two wins, things became difficult for the Tridents, logically they need to win all the next three games including this one to hope for the place in playoffs.
In the batting department, from last seven games, KR Mayers smashed 205 runs at an average of 29.18 and J Charles smashed 204 runs with an average 29.14. Batting duo has done plenty of scoring for the side in previous games and the team will be relying heavily on this two. However, the batting duo got very less assistance from other batsmen in their side. Shai Hope, the Tridents most established batsmen have failed miserably; he has scored just 113 runs at a strike rate of 90.40. He is Windies most successful player in recent times and got plenty of experience playing in T20. His good batting form is very important for Tridents.
Tridents side is known for the great all-rounders in their unit; Corey Anderson, Jason Holder, Ashly Nurse and M Santner. All these players got plenty of experience playing in T20 league, however, they failed to perform collectively and that the main reason behind Tridets failure this season. In the bowling, Tridents got ICC T20I top-ranked bowler, Rashid Khan. He is a very talented and skilful bowler, its very difficult to score against his bowling.
