The weather will be partly cloudy with a 70% chance for rain. The seamers will get assitance on this pitch. As it is the surface has been overused in the tournament so far and might play a little slow. Hope the rain stays away so that we get a cracker of a game.
The match will be played at Brian Lara Stadium, Tarouba, Trinidad. The ground was constructed in 2017 and has capacity to hold 15,000 people. It has a history of hosting 3 CPL finals in 2017, 2018, and 2019 season of the tournament.
From the earlier five games played at this venue, two games were won by batting first team and three games by a chasing team. Spinners are likely to get some assistance from the pitch. Hence, considering the weather conditions and latest record, the team winning the toss would like to bowl first.
We expect it to be a cracking game as both the teams have played some good quality cricket in the league stage. Warriors have plenty of batting firepower and good quality spinners. Statistically, warriors hold the upper hand playing versus Zouks, as they won 10 out of 15 games between them. Also, Warriors are coming to this game on the back of success in the last four games and hence the momentum is with them.
We predict Guyana Amazon Warriors to win this game.
