In the 12th match of the Vincy Premier League 2020, the Grenadines Divers would be up against the Dark View Explorers. It has been a similar trajectory for both sides in the tournament so far as they have won a game each and lost the other two. The side that wins this contest would be moving up the points table and improve its chances of making it to the semi-finals.
The Grenadines Divers earned a comfortable win against the Fort Charlotte Strikers led by their batting which came to the party for the first time.
The Dark View Explorers had a bad day in the last game and lost to the Botanic Gardens Rangers. It will be interesting to see which of the two sides is able to hold onto their nerves as the stakes are equally high for them in this game.

Obed McCoy would finally be a happy man as his side played well in the last game to defeat the Fort Charlotte Strikers by 22 runs in what was a comprehensive win. Coming after two losses this would surely have lifted their spirits and the skipper would want the side to carry the same momentum into the next game.
Asif Hooper played a great knock in the last game to set up the win for the side and found good support from Alex Samuel. The side will look for a good start from Shem Browne at the top. They have a strong batting line-up in the middle with good hitters like Richie Richards, McCoy, and Tijorn Pope.
Asif Hooper was good with the ball in the last game and so too was Razine Browne and the side would be looking at these players to carry their form forward. McCoy, Pope, and Geron Whyllie will need to bowl tighter lines in the next game for the side to win against a good batting line-up that the Explorers have.
After making a positive start to the tournament Lindon James’ side has now suffered back to back losses. In the last game against the Botanic Gardens Rangers they went down by 16 runs due to poor shot selection from their batsmen. James will need to inspire confidence in the side as they are up against a team that comes into this game with a win.
Deron Greaves has done well so far in the tournament and he will be looking to start the innings well in the company of James. Down the order the likes of Kensley Joseph, Kody Horne, and Shamon Hooper have good hitting abilities with the bat but they have been out for form in the last two games. Their batsmen will have to focus on building partnerships in the next game to win it.
The bowlers are struggling at the moment and for the second consecutive game they failed to apply brakes on the scoring rate of their opponents. Darius Martin and Shamon Hooper have to bowl well. The likes of Kemron Strough, Sealron Williams and Greaves have to check their line and length in the next game.

It would be slightly cloudy at St. Vincent on May 25 with the conditions being hot and humid. The track is expected to offer some assistance to the fast bowlers initially but by and large it will be a good wicket to bat on. The side batting first will have to eye a score in excess of 100 runs on this surface.
Arnos Vale Sporting Complex, St. Vincent is a small ground with shorter boundaries around the square. Batsmen who have been watchful have done well at this venue while fast bowlers do well with the new ball. The oddball stops on the surface and spinners have enjoyed bowling here.
In the last three games played at this venue the side batting first has won all of them. The pitch has eased as far as batting is concerned from what we saw in the first few games. The side that wins the toss should have no hesitation in batting first on this surface and aim at putting up a big score.
It is going to be a close game and both sides match up to each other on most counts. The Grenadines Divers come into this game after registering their first win which is a confidence booster for them at the moment. Dark View Explorers on the other hand have lost their last two games and have to recover from this slump. But they have a better-balanced side in terms of big hitters and this will give them a slight edge in this game.
