In the 20th game of the Vincy Premier League 2020, the Grenadines Divers would be taking on the Salt Pond Breakers. The Divers have won two out of their six games so far and a win in this game would help them get closer to a berth in the semifinals. The Salt Pond Breakers on the other hand has already earned a place for themselves in the semifinals with 10 points in six games.
The Salt Pond Breakers suffered their first defeat of the season in the last game against the La Soufriere Hikers and they will be expecting to make a strong comeback in this game. As for the Grenadines Divers their win over the Fort Charlotte Strikers in the last game would make them confident as they go into this game and look to defeat one of the strongest sides in the tournament.

Asif Hooper’s side registered a big win in the last game and with this, they have increased their hopes of making it to the semifinals. The 31-run win against the Fort Charlotte Strikers came at the back of good show from the batsmen and bowlers and they will have to repeat the same against a much stronger opponent in the next game. Asif Hooper and Alex Samuel are in good form with the bat at the moment and they will be looking to provide the side with a positive start in the next game.
Wayne Harper coming back into the side missed out and needs to do well in this game. Shem Browne, Richie Richards and Razine Browne will have to play a strong hand down the order in the next game. Asif Hooper has looked good with the ball in this tournament and it was an excellent bowling show from Obed McCoy and Richards in the last game that sealed the win for the side.
The duo would look to carry on with the same form. They will also need good support from Braxie Browne and Razine Browne against the powerful hitters that Breakers have.
Sunil Ambris’ side suffered the first win of the season in the last game against the La Soufriere Hikers which they lost by 8 wickets. It was a game where their bowlers were unable to defend a big score. They have done well in previous games and would be looking to bounce back in this one. It has been a great show from the openers Sunil Ambris and Kadir Nedd in the last few games and they continued with their good form in the last game as well.
However, the side will look for a good show with the bat from the likes of Urnel Thomas, Wesrick Strough and Delorn Johnson down the order. It was a bad day for their bowlers in the last game, the first in the tournament and they would aim to come out of it in the next game.
Ambris and Wesrick Strough have been the pick of the bowlers for the side so far and they need pick wickets early. Javid Harry, Johnson and Donwell Hector need to bowl good lines in the next game for the side to win.

There would be clear skies over St. Vincent on May 28 and this will make batting easy. The ball will come on to the bat nicely and hence playing strokes won’t be a challenge for the batsmen. The side that bats first will have to eye a score in excess of 100 runs to feel safe on this surface.
The small size of the outfield at the Arnos Vale Sporting Complex, St. Vincent is something batsmen are enjoying which allows them to play their strokes freely. Spinners have done well on this surface with the odd ball stopping on the batsmen. Fast bowlers also find assistance when the ball is new.
In the last 12 games the sides that have batted first have gone onto win on 10 occasions and in this format of the game sides batting first always have the advantage. The skipper winning the toss in the next game would have little hesitation in batting first.
The Grenadines Divers returned to form in the last game and would be confident going into this one. But they are up against a team which has done extremely well so far and against whom they had lost earlier in the season.
The Salt Pond Breakers have the best combination among all the teams and shall look to put their loss in the last game behind. This will definitely make them favorites in this game.
