In the 6th game of the 2019 Karnataka Premier League, the Hubli Tigers will take on the Bellary Tuskers. It is a must-win game for the Tigers as they went down against the Shivamogga Lions in their opening game by 6 wickets. The Tuskers, on the other hand, won a tight game against the Belagavi Panthers where they defended a small total with some tight bowling.
The Hubli Tigers would be concerned about the form of their top order which failed in the last game. Their bowlers also failed to bowl good lines in the last game. A loss in the upcoming game would put them in a spot of bother. Tuskers would be looking to carry their form in the next game which promises to be an interesting one.

Vinay Kumar’s side made a bad start to the season in their opening game against Shivamogga Lions where they bowled poorly and failed to defend the total. The skipper would know that they are up against a strong side in the next game and would need to play their best game to win it.
At the top Mohammad Taha, Luvnith Sisodia and Shishir Bhavane failed in the last game and they would need to come up with a better show in the next game. KB Pawan and KL Srijith played well in the last game and the side would require a solid hand from Praveen Dubey and Vinay Kumar in the next game to win it.
In the bowling department, Mitrakanth Yadav bowled tight line in the game. Vinay Kumar and Aditya Somanna failed to pick early wickets which cost them the game and they would need to improve upon this in the next game. Abhilash Shetty and Praveen Dubey would also keep their line tight in the upcoming game.

It was an impressive start to the tournament by CM Gautam’s side in their opening game against Belagavi Panthers. After putting up an average score on the board the side defended it well to win the game by 5 runs. Gautam would want his team to carry this confidence into the next game and win it.
Abhishek Reddy played well at the top and found good support from Devdutt Padikkal in the middle while skipper Gautam also chipped in with important runs in the middle. The skipper would want a better show from others including Karthik CA, Krishnappa Gowtham and Zeeshan Ali Sayeed in the upcoming game.
It was an impressive bowling performance from the Tuskers in the last game where Prasidh Krishna and Krishnappa Gowtham bowled tight lines early in the game. Bhavesh Gulecha and KP Appanna also bowled well in the game and the bowling attack looks well-balanced going into this game.

The weather is likely to remain cloudy with chances of slight showers. The pitch has so far not been the typical Bangalore track as batsmen have found it hard to time the ball. It is likely to offer assistance to the bowlers at the start. The side batting first would be eying a total around the 160 run mark.
VENUE
M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru has always been a good hunting ground for the batsmen as they have been aided by a fast outfield and shorter boundaries. But in overcast conditions, the surface assists the fast bowlers. Smaller boundaries make it easy for the batsmen to hit the ball in the air.
There has been some assistance for the fast bowlers in the initial overs and they are aided by the overcast conditions during the game. The pitch is likely to become easier to bat on as the game progresses. The side winning the toss would in all likelihood decide to bowl first on this wicket.
Hubli Tigers are going into this game with their backs to the wall. One more loss would put them into trouble in the points table. The Bellary Tuskers, on the other hand, would go into this game riding on momentum. Their key players did well which would make the side confident. As things stand at the moment the Tuskers would have a slight edge over the Tigers in the next game.
We predict Bellary Tuskers to win this match!
