The second game of the three-match ODI series between India and Australia will be played in Rajkot on Friday. In the series opener, Australia defeated India by 10 wickets and took 1-0 lead in the series. India was outplayed by visitors in all three departments. It was also India’s 4th successive loss to Australia at home. Though India got a good start however middle-order batting collapsed changing the game heavily in favor of Visitors. Later India’s bowler lacked discipline and was mauled by determined opening pair of Aussies. Skipper Aaron Finch and co. will be very content following the dominant performance in the first game. It would be a very crucial game for the Aussies as they are well placed to win the series. In batting, Aussies top-order batsmen, Aaron Finch, David Warner, and Steve Smith would be a key player. Skipper Aaron Finch has been the Aussies leading scorer last year; scored 1141 runs at an average of 51.86. David Warner has been in phenomenal form, he keeps finds the way of scoring the runs. He is also the fastest Australian batsman to 5000 ODI runs. He is an explosive top-order batsman and likes to play in Indian conditions.
Steve Smith is arguably one of the best batsmen in the game. He is a great player of spin and it would be very vital Aussies, he holds the one batting end versus quality Indian bowlers.
