The final and decisive game of the three-match T20 series between India and Bangladesh will be played at VCA Stadium, Nagpur. After being outplayed in the series opener, the hosts, aided by a collective batting and bowling performance, made a strong comeback, registering 8 wickets in the second game. Skipper Rohit Sharma excellent form this year continues. He was the protagonist in the last win, scored 85 runs in the run chase.
Earlier, the opponent got to a good start however some exceptional spin and death bowling from Indian restrict the opponent on the below-par score. Unlike the first game, in fielding as well men in blue were tidy. Hence, after ticking all the boxes in the last game, the host side will look for yet another clinical performance and win one more series in own fortress. On the contrast, Bangladesh after winning the historic first match failed to re-produce similar performance.
The visitors got to a good start in powerplay however middle-order batsmen didn’t capitalize it. While defending the score, bowlers looked motiveless and besides some serious batting from Indian skipper didn’t allow any Bangladeshi bowlers to get the rhythm. For visitors, Aminul Islam bowling has been the biggest positive of the series. He was also a pick-up bowler in last game. However, it would be a good opportunity for potentially weaker visitors to win the series and create a notable moment. They would look to replicate the opening game performance.
