The final game of the two-match test series between India and Bangladesh will be played at the iconic Eden Garden in Kolkata. It will be a historic match as both the teams will be playing their first-ever day-night test match.
Earlier in a first match, India defeated Bangladesh effortlessly by an inning and 130 runs. Mayank Agrawal superb form with bat continues, with his 243 runs in the first inning he was the main protagonist in batting. Indian pacers also did a remarkable job to bowled out visitors twice in the span of two days. India is very Intimidating at home in test game as they won record 11th consecutive series at home and very close to making it 12th in a row.
The statistics itself exhibit the kind of test cricket Indian team is playing and it truly justifies why they are currently the top-ranked test team. Besides, in batting, home side possesses four of the ICC top-10 batsmen – Virat Kohli, C Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane and Rohit Sharma. In bowling and all-rounder list as well, R Ashwin, M Shami and R Jadeja are amongst top-ranked. The host would be aiming for a similar performance and pile-up the win record.
On the other hand, Bangladesh's poor outing in 2019 in the test game continues. They have lost all the four tests matched played this year including the one against Afghanistan in September which was particularly disappointing. In the last game, the Bangladesh team bundled out of 150 and 213 runs in first and second inning respectively. Pacer Abu Jayed has been a standout Bangladeshi player in the last game; he picked four top-order Indian batsmen wickets.
The biggest challenge for visitors is to score massive runs against the formidable Indian bowling line-up. Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah, the senior player in the team need to step up and score the bulk of the runs. Both the Bangladeshi batsmen and bowlers need to come up with a much different strategy to pose some challenges opposite to the quality Indian side.

The whole Indian team will take great confidence from their dominant win over Bangladesh in the last game. The home side has played stupendously over the last couple of years to defeat the formidable opponent in difficult conditions. All their batsmen, pacers and spinners are playing their role to perfections in recent times.
Star-studded Indian batting is led by skipper Virat Kohli, arguably one of the best batsmen in world cricket at the moment. He is currently ranked second among test batsmen. He is world-class and always found the way of scoring runs at all levels. He average 54 in test matches and with 735 runs he is currently the top scorer for India last year. He got out on a rare duck in the last inning and hence his big score is on the card at Kolkata.
Another top-order batsman, C Pujara has been India’s second-highest scorer in last year; scored 726 runs from the last 15 innings at an average of 48.40. Newly formed opening pair of Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agrawal also played remarkably well off late.
Later scored a massive double century in the last game and it was his second of the year. Both got great success at the top and would be keen to carry on the good form. In the middle order, vice-captain Ajinkya Rahnane's good batting form continues. He scored 86 in the last game and also put a good partnership with Mayank Agrawal after India lose two quick wickets. Indian bowling unit is currently one of the best in the world, which can run through any batting line-up.
Pacer Mohammed Shami has been in stupendous form with the red ball, he picked 45 wickets from the last 19 games. He was the top wicket-taker in the last game with seven wickets. Other pacers, Umesh Yadav and I Sharma also supported him well from the other end. R Ashwin and R Jadeja would be the two frontline spinning all-rounder in the side. Key Players: Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Mohammed Shami
Ravichandran Ashwin, Ajinkya Rahane, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, Ishant Sharma, Mayank Agarwal, Cheteshwar Pujara, WP Saha, Virat Kohli, Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Shami
Bangladesh's side would be very disappointed after being defeated by the host side in the first game in just less than three days. It’s a kind of defeat that can leave the team’s confidence in tatters. However, they still got another game to play and the visiting side led by newly appointed skipper Mominul Haque would need to inspire the players to come up with much better performance.
In batting, Mushfiqur Rahim got a great start in the last game. He scored 43 and 64 runs in first and second inning respectively. However, the team would expect him to capitalize on the good start and score a massive hundred. He is the most decorated Bangladesi batsman in the unit and lot would depend on him on the batting front.
Batting all-rounder Mahmudullah has been the leading scorer for Bangladesh in recent times, before last game, he scored 432 runs from last 9 innings at an average of 48.00. However, he failed to make an impact in the last game as he got out in the twenties in both the inning. He is a very good player of spin and the team would want him to hold the one batting end against the quality Indian spinners and play an anchored inning.
The opening duo of Imrul Kayes and Shadman Islam would need to play with much more discipline and need to make sure they don’t expose the middle order batting early in the day. On the bowling front, Abu Jayed was excellent and he was the only Bangladeshi bowler who looks threatening. He picked four wickets. Visitors are likely to include Al-Amin Hossain and Mustafizur Rahman, for the second game. Mehidy Hasan will be the leading spinner in the side. Key Players – Mahmudullah, Mushfiqur Rahim, Abu Jayed
Al-Amin Hossain, Ebadat Hossain, Mahmudullah, Imrul Kayes, Mominul Haque, Liton Das, Abu Jayed, Shadman Islam, Mohammad Mithun, Mushfiqur Rahim, Naeem Hasan

The weather in Kolkata on Friday is sunshine forecast all day. And humidity will be hovering around 31 c. With the pink ball to be used in the second game, pacers are expected to be more effective compared to spinners.
Eden Gardens, the largest cricket stadium in India, has hosted many prominent matches and ready to host India’s first-ever day-night historic test match.
Out of the last 41 test games played at this venue, 12 won by batting first and nine games while batting fourth. Average first inning score is 328 while in the fourth inning it is 143. Hence, we predict team would to bat first first at this venue.
India is absolutely flying in all formats of the game right now but they seem to be prioritizing Test matches and the new Test Championship. They have played six games in the tournament so far and have dominated twice against West Indies and three times against South Africa, one against Bangladesh. Their batting should simply prove far too strong for the tourists, and the bowling unit should have no trouble dispensing of the Bangladeshi batsmen.
Hence we predict India are outright favorites and will easily win the opening game of the series.
