Host India will be looking to maintain their winning momentum when they take on England in the fourth and final game of the Test series at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad from Thursday.
The spinners did most of the damage in the pink-ball Test to see India register an emphatic ten wicket-win over England at Ahmedabad. With this result, India have taken 2-1 lead in the four-match Test series. Skipper Virat Kohli will once again assess the pitch conditions and look to select their strongest combination for the series finale.
For England, it will be another opportunity to make amends for their mistakes made in the previous two matches. With the final Test being a day-game, Joe Root will be hoping that the side can raise their overall game and secure a victory in this contest.

The home side might two changes to their playing XI by bringing in Mayank Agarwal and Umesh Yadav in place of Washington Sundar and Jasprit Bumrah.
With 296 runs in six innings at an average of 59.20, there is no doubt that swashbuckling opener Rohit Sharma has been in-form player in the batting department. Surprisingly, Virat Kohli has not produced a century so far this series. Indian Skipper will be determined to produce something special with the bat.
Experienced middle-order players like Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane have also struggled to deliver runs for India in this series. Team management will be hoping that the likes of Pujara and Rahane can get back amongst the runs in this series finale at Ahmedabad.
Wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant has continued his excellent form with the bat and will be looking to put in another notable score in this final Test.
In the bowling department, the onus will be on the likes of Umesh Yadav and Ishant Sharma. If the surface is dry, expect the spin duo of Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin to come in early to make crucial breakthroughs for India.
