India, England lock horns in series decider at Ahmedabad

Host India and England will battle it out for glory in the fifth and final game of the T20I series at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday.
In the previous game, India managed to eke out a narrow win over England to level the five-match T20I series. Skipper Virat Kohli will be hoping that the side can bring their best cricket to the fire and clinch the T20I series.
On the other hand, England have certainly pushed India in this T20I series and will be looking to upstage India in the series finale. England Captain Eoin Morgan will be hoping that the side can raise their overall game to clinch the series.

The home side might bring in Deepak Chahar in place of Shardul Thakur, who once again conceded a lot of runs.

Wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant chipped in with another handy innings of 30 runs off 23 balls with the help of four boundaries.
Shreyas Iyer produced a splendid innings for India in the previous game and smashed quick-fire 37 off 18 balls with the help of five fours and one six. Due to crucial runs from Shardul Thakur and Hardik Pandya, India post a competitive total of 185 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
Playing his first game, Rahul Chahar, certainly showed his capability with the ball in hand. Leg-spinner picked key wickets of Dawid Malan and Jonny Bairstow. Besides Chahar, Hardik Pandya put in fabulous bowling performance and finished with figures of 2 for 16 in his four overs.

In the previous game, Jason Roy once again showcased excellent form with the bat and scored 40 runs off 27 balls with the help of six fours and one six.
The likes of Dawid Malan, Jonny Bairstow and Eoin Morgan failed to capitalize on their good starts. All-rounder Ben Stokes found form with the bat in the previous game and finished the innings with the top-score of 46 runs off 23 balls with the help of four boundaries and three sixes.
Chris Jordan and Jofra Archer fought hard till the end but it wasn’t enough as England fell eight runs short of the target.
In the bowling department, Jofra Archer once again was the standout performer for England in the previous game. He claimed four wickets and conceded 33 runs. Besides, Mark Wood and Ben Stokes claimed one wicket apiece.
