The third and final game of the three-match T-20 series between India and Sri Lanka will be played at MCA Stadium in Pune. In the previous game, India comprehensively out-batted and out-bowled Sri Lanka. The host side won the game by seven wickets and leading the series 1-0. The earlier first game of the series was abandoned due to damp pitch. In the last game, bowlers did an excellent job to restrict Sri Lanka on the below-par score. Navdeep Saini was the star performer with the bowl and was awarded man of the match for his excellent bowling spell. Later in batting, India’s top order ones again set the tone in the chase.
K L Rahul's superb form in batting continues and he was well supported by batsmen from another end. Men in blue are currently playing the best brand of cricket and they would be eying for a similar performance in the final game of the series to win another bilateral series.
On the other hand, the Sri Lankan team would be very disappointed with their performance in the previous game as both their batting and bowling were very ordinary. They are consistently failing to cross the 150 mark score and it's hurting them most and also it truly justifies their failures.
Sri Lankan batsmen need to step up and have to put a decent score on board to provide some cushioned for the bowlers. Besides, the bowling unit also needs to come up with a much different strategy against the formidable Indian batting line-up. They would need to fire all cylinders in the final game to win the game and level the series.

Lankan team are likely to make the changes in playing eleven. experienced Angelo Mathews likely to replace Oshada Fernando.
Except for Kushal Perera, all other batsmen look motiveless. All the top-order batsmen got the start however they failed to convert it to the big one. Just with 34 runs, he was the leading scorer for Lanka in the last game.

The weather forecast in Pune on Friday is clear. The track at MCA stadium tends to be a good wicket for batting. However, the spinners are known to play their part as the game progresses and can get it to grip off the surface.
Third and final game of the series will be played at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.
From the last two T20 played at the same venue, 129 has been the average first inning score whereas 131 in the second inning. The dew is expected during evening time and hence chasing will be easy.
Hence, we expect the team winning the toss will look to bowl first at this venue.
A look at the current form of the Indian side and their record in home conditions suggests that it will be very hard to beat them. They got many star performers on their side and they are consistently performing at the international level. Furthermore, they hold a very strong T20 win record against Sri Lanka. In contrast, the Sri Lanka team is struggling in both their batting and bowing.
Hence, India is the outright favorite to win this game.
