West Indies roared back in grand fashion to level the series 1-1 in the second T20I match. The Indian team will be dejected with the way West Indies batsmen took on Indian bowlers and scored runs with ease. West Indies outplayed India especially in the power-hitting game and are well and truly ahead of India in the sixes count. The Indian team has a poor record in T20I matches recently when they have batted first and they will need to sort out this weaker sooner before T20 World Cup.
Both teams will look to finalize their team combinations and squad for future tours and also they will need to win this match and series which will be a big morale boost for the teams.

Indian batting unit needs to put more runs on board especially in the death overs. They added just 30 runs in the final 4 overs in the last match. Shivam Dubey made the most of his promotion to No.3 and scored his maiden fifty after both openers fell cheaply. Rishab Pant played a handy cameo to up the scoring rate in the last match. Virat and Shreyas failed to deliver and were dismissed at crucial junctures. India lacks a pinch hitter who can take on the bowling from the first ball ion their lineup.
Washington Sundar bowled a decent spell of 4-0-26-1 upfront and has turned out to be a vital cog in the team. Bhuvaneshwar was very unlucky as couple of catches went down in his over and he was carted for runs in the later stages of the match. Yuzi Chahal and Deepak Chahar were taken for a lot of runs and are finding it difficult against marauding West Indies batsmen. Mohammed Shami or Kuldeep Yadav or both may get a game in this time around.
Key Players:
Rohit Sharma – Rohit has been dismissed for low scores in both the matches. He is class batsmen and has an excellent T20I record in the last 2-3 years. We can expect a big knock from him in this big match.
Bhuvaneshwar Kumar – He has identical figures of 0/36 in the two matches and they don`t reflect his bowling as catches have been dropped off his bowling. He bowled 2 overs in power play and gave away just 7 runs in the last match.

West Indies batsmen are on fire currently with everyone contributing to the scorecard. Evin Lewis has given good starts to their innings in both matches and scored 8-0 runs so far at a strike rate of over 180. Lendl Simmons took time at the start but stayed till the end scoring 67 runs off 45 balls to complete the chase. Shimron Hetmyer and Nicholas Pooran played good supporting hands to partner Lendl Simmons in the chase.
Sheldon Cotrell yet again came up with a good spell in this match. Spinners Khary Pierre and Hayden Walsh too came well picking up wickets regularly and had combined figures of 6-0-39-3. Kesrick Williams got the better of Indian skipper after being humiliated by him in the first T20I match.
Key Players:
Nicholas Pooran – Pooran made a comeback and showed what he is capable of with his stroke-filled knock. He raced to 38 runs off just 18 balls with 4 boundaries and 2 maximums in the last match. Sheldon Cotrell – Cotrell is the only bowler to give runs at less than 7 RPO in both the matches. He is bowling his Yorkers with good accuracy and using his variations to good effect.

Mumbai is expected to have a bright and sunny climate with no chances of rain. We will have a full quota of overs without any interruption in this match.
Wankhade is one of the pitches where the ball comes onto the bat with good pace and carry. Faster bowlers enjoy bowling here more than the spinners. The average score in this pitch will be 160-180 runs.
Chasing teams have won both the matches so far and no target is safe in the T20Is nowadays.
Both teams have an excellent batting and bowling line-up with a good mix of the all-rounder. West Indies have more hitting power in their line-up whereas Indian team has classy batsmen who can play well on any conditions. We expect the Indian team to win this match and series based on their recent form and records.
India will win the match and the series 2-1!
