On the match day, the weather in Dubai is expected to be humid. There are no chances of precipitation in the match. The daytime temperature can reach 33°c.
The match will be played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai. This ground has bigger boundaries than Sharjah and with pitches slowing down the latter half of the tournament it will mostly be a low scoring game by T20 standards.
From the last 14, IPL T20 played at the same venue, 10 matches won by the team who batted first but in the last two matches played on the same pitch, chasing teams have secured wins. So it is recommended to bat first after winning the toss.
Based on the current form and in the league, KXIP will have an advantage going into this game. Punjab looks very balanced compare to SRH and has good batting and bowling unit. They have been on a winning streak and inclusion of Chris Gayle has changed the situation in KXIP's favour. It will be tough for SRH to beat KXIP in this game.
We predict that KXIP will defeat SRH.
