It is the second semifinal in the Vincy Premier League, 2020 and the La Soufriere Hikers would be taking on the Botanic Gardens Rangers. La Soufriere Hikers have enjoyed a great run in the league stages winning all but one game and finishing second on the points table. With five wins in their eight games, the Rangers have also displayed good skills and shall be looking to do well in this game.
The Botanic Gardens Rangers won a thriller in the last game against the Grenadines Divers. While the La Soufriere Hikers finished another one-sided game, claiming the win against the Fort Charlotte Strikers. The two sides had previously played twice and on both those occasions, the Hikers had won it easily. Given the states involved in the game, we expect to see good cricket from both the teams.

Desron Maloney’s side annihilated their opponents Fort Charlotte Strikers in the rain reduced game winning it by 9 wickets. With this win, the side has developed good momentum and it would be looking to carry the same form in the big semifinal. The Rangers are no pushovers and Maloney will need to get the best performance out of his players to win this game.
Salvan Browne and Camano Cain looked good opening the batting in the last game and the side will need a good start from them. Dillon Douglas looks good at No. 3 with Maloney, Cosmus Hackshaw and Tilran Harry to follow the batting look good for the side. They will need to play positive cricket in the next game given the stakes involved in the battle.
Othneil Lewis is having a great season and the side will expect him to start off well with the new ball. Kimson Dalzell and Kenson Dalzell also bowled well in the last game and they will be looking to continue with the same form. Rayan Williams and Jeremy Haywood add to the side’s bowling depth.
Kesrick Williams’ side pulled off a great win off the last ball of the game against the Grenadines Divers. The side now has the biggest challenge in its hands as it plays the Strikers against whom they have lost twice. It will require a spirited show from their players to win the next game.
The side will need the opening pair of Hyron Shallow and Oziko Williams to fire and the former is looking in great form. Kenneth Dember played a match-winning knock in the last game and looks in good form. However, their batsmen have to show consistency as the likes of Romel Currency and Atticus Browne have missed out in the last few games.
Kenneth Dember and Kesrick Williams bowled well in the last game and this would make the bowling unit extremely confident. Kevin Abraham also came up with a good show with the ball. The side would however look up to Kimali Williams and Nigel Small to bowl tighter lines going into this game.

The skies would be overcast over St Vincent on May 30 and there are predictions rains during the game. These conditions would help the fast bowlers in the early overs. The pitch has been good for batting and the side that starts the game shall eye a big score to feel good in the game.
Arnos Vale Sporting Complex, St. Vincent is a small ground, batsmen have always enjoyed batting here as it allows them to hit their strokes freely. The ball also moves around in the early overs of the game and the spinners are able to use the turn and the bounce that this wicket offers.
The weather isn’t likely to be great and we may have a rain interruption and in such events, the side that chases the score always has an advantage. This is the reason we believe the side that wins the toss is likely to invite their opponent to bat first. They will look to dismiss them for a small score.
It is a big semifinal clash where La Soufriere Hikers would be going into the game with a great bit of confidence. The Botanic Gardens Rangers have played well in the last few games and they would be looking to continue with the same form and make improvements in their batting. But the Hikers are a stronger team and had defeated the Rangers twice earlier in the season and this would make them favorites to win this game.
