La Soufriere Hikers would take on the Fort Charlotte Strikers in the 11th game of the Vincy Premier League 2020. The La Soufriere Hikers are coming into this game after suffering a crushing defeat at the hands of the Salt Pond Breakers where their bowlers let them down.
Fort Charlotte Strikers, on the other hand, have played poorly so far in the tournament and have lost all their three games. Fort Charlotte Strikers came in with one of the strongest teams in this tournament but they have failed to play well as a team. Batting wise their top order hasn’t delivered yet.
La Soufriere Hikers would definitely look to exploit this situation and it remains to be seen whether the Strikers are able to turn the tide in this game.

Desron Maloney’s side went down against the Salt Pond Breakers in the last game by 25 runs in what as an extremely poor show from their bowlers. The fact that they weren’t able to pick a single wicket would hurt their confidence. Maloney would like his side to draw strength from their wins in the first two games and do well in this one.
Openers Salvan Browne and Desron Maloney failed in the last game and they will be looking to make amends in this one. Dillon Douglas has been in good form so far and along with Dean Browne and Rawdon Bentick adds to the strength of their batting. They will look to exploit the weakness their opponents have in their batting.
Their bowlers have had a tough time and for the second time in a row conceded more than 100 runs. The side will want Othneil Lewis and Dean Browne to start the proceedings well and pick early wickets and also find good support from the likes of Kenson Dalzell and Kimson Dalzell to bowl well in the game.
Things are getting tough for Keron Cottoy’s team at the moment. Three games into the tournament and the side is still searching for its first win. They suffered a 22-run loss in the last game against the Grenadines Divers. The side has to get its act right to keep its hopes alive for a place in the knockout stages.
Gidron Pope played brilliantly in the last game and scored 59 runs but there was hardly any support from the other end. Jaheil Walters will need to do well with the bat and so will Keron Cottoy. In Chelson Stowe, Renrick Williams, and Ray Jordan they have good hitters but these guys are still to fire which is causing problems for the side.
It was poor bowling show once again from the side. Apart from Ray Jordan no other bowler has done well so far for the side. Kirton Lavia, Rasheed Fredericks, Cottoy, and Chelson Stowe will have to bowl well in the next game for the side to win against a tough opponent.

There would be odd clouds over St. Vincent on May 25 and it will be hot and humid during the game. The pitch has eased down in the last few games and the ball is coming onto the bat nicely which allows the batsmen to play their strokes. The side batting first will eye a score of 100 or more to feel comfortable.
It is a small park at the Arnos Vale Sporting Complex, St. Vincent and this is allowing the batsmen to play their strokes. Fast bowlers do find some assistance from the surface but need to bowl tight lines. Spinners have done well at this venue as the oddball tends to stop and keep low.
In the third round matches we have seen the pitch become easy to bat on, unlike the previous games. The pace and bounce on the surface have become even and thus we expect the side winning the toss to bat first on this surface and look at putting up a big score.
La Soufriere Hikers are coming into this game after suffering their first loss. The side has done well so far and it is only their bowling line-up that is giving headaches to the team management. Fort Charlotte Strikers on the other hand have not been able to get their plans to work and have lost all the games so far. They have serious problems with their batting as well as bowling and hence we expect the La Soufriere Hikers to start favorites in this game.
