Captain David Warner played a superb knock of 54 runs from 37 balls but couldn't help the team to claim a win over RCB. The team's middle-order batting lineup remained the main concern for them and they will be looking forward to making some changes in it while playing against Mumbai at Chennai. The venue for this match is MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai which is famous for its spinning track. The ground has both red and black soil pitches and is one of the prime grounds in India.
Traditionally the ground is famous for chasing in the T20 format in the last few matches, the pitch offered an advantage to the defending team. In the 5 T20s played so far on this ground, the team bowling first has won 2 matches whereas the team batting first has won 3 matches. Thus, the team winning the shot should bat first.
By looking at both the teams, Mumbai Indians have delivered better bowling performance in their last two matches. They have failed to score huge scores on the board but managed to defend target in both the matches. On the other hand, Hyderabad have failed to handle pressure in the middle order while chasing the target in their first and second match. Hyderabad’s batting mainly depends on their top 3 batsmen and that's why Mumbai have an upper hand in this match and they will try to take those 2 points against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
We predict that the Mumbai Indians will defeat the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
