T&Cs apply, 18+
It will be a big battle at the Docklands Stadium, Melbourne where the hosts Melbourne Renegades would be taking on the Sydney Sixers. The hosts who are also the defending champions have struggled so far in the tournament and are yet to win a game in the season.
Sydney Sixers, on the other hand, have done well so far and won three out of their five games and won the last game against Sydney Thunder in the Super Over. Through the Renegades haven’t had the best starts to the season they have a good mix of experienced players and will be looking to do well in front of their home crowd. They have a good record against the Sixers and this will give them confidence going into the next game. The Sydney Sixers will have to play well to improve their poor record against the Renegades and we expect to have a competitive game of cricket.

They have played anything but like defending champions this season. Aaron Finch’s side is in a spot of bother after their 18 run loss against the Adelaide Strikers in the last game. They are in the bottom half of the points table and the skipper will have to inspire his side to win the next game to create their chances of making it to the playoff stage of the season.
Finch has done well with the bat but he will need good support from his fellow opener Sam Harper in this game. The likes of Marcus Harris, Shaun Marsh, and Beau Webster form a good middle order but they will have to deliver in the next game.
In Daniel Christian, the side has a good hitter of the ball down the order and would be expecting a good show from him in the next game.
As far as their bowling is concerned Kane Richardson has done well so far this season. It was also a good show from Cameron Boyce and Will Sutherland. These players will need to continue with their form into the next game. The likes of Richard Gleeson and Harry Gurney will have to bowl better lines in the upcoming game.

Moises Henriques’ side would have been extremely happy with the win over the Sydney Thunder in the Super Over. They stole the win from the jaws of defeat in the last game and the skipper would look to carry that confidence in the next game. With their opponents struggling the side will like to make the best use of this opportunity.
Josh Philippe and Hayden Kerr need to set up a good opening wicket stand. These players haven’t really done well this season. They have an in-form player in Daniel Hughes. Henriques has done well so far in the season and will be looking to put a good score on the board with players like James Vince and Jordan Silk in the side.
Down the order, Tom Curran adds to their batting strength. Tom Curran and Sean Abbott are doing well with the ball at the moment and shall look to continue with their good form.
Lloyd Pope will carry the confidence of having bowled well in the last game. What the side needs is a better show with the ball from its new ball pair of Ben Dwarshuis and Jackson Bird.
Jack Edwards, B Dwarshuis, Jackson Bird, Moises Henriques, Tom Curran, James Vince, Jordan Silk, Josh Philippe, Daniel Hughes, Benjamin Manenti, Lloyd Pope
The weather would be bright and sunny at Melbourne on January 02 with odd clouds in the sky. The pitch would be a flat surface as we have seen in the recent games at this venue. There wouldn’t be much in for the bowlers in the game. The side that bats first will be looking for a score in the range of 180 runs to win the game.
Docklands Stadium, Melbourne is a good venue for T20 games and we have witnessed several high scoring games here in the past. The ball comes on to the bat nicely and allows the batsmen to play their strokes freely. The margin for error for the bowlers is small and they have to bowl extremely good lines to win here.

It has been a high scoring pitch where the sides batting first have won more games. The pitch tends to slow down a bit in the second innings when batting becomes a challenge. Going into the next game we expect the side winning the toss to bat first on this surface and set up a big score.
It will be a big game for the Melbourne Renegades as they take on the Sydney Sixers at home. With no wins so far the Renegades are in a tight spot at the moment and will have to play good cricket to win the next game. Sydney Sixers, on the other hand, come into this one after a thrilling win in their last game which will give them a lot of confidence. It will be a tight game but Melbourne Renegades courtesy their stronger batting line-up shall start as favorites in the next game.
