Glenn Maxwell’s side began the tournament in style winning their first game against the Brisbane Heat. It was a good show from the batsmen and the bowlers that helped the side win the game. Maxwell would want his side to carry the same form into the next game and win it in front of the home crowd. Glenn Maxwell made a strong statement with the bat in the last game and this would have surely lifted the spirits in the camp.
The side would, however, expect a better start from openers Nic Maddinson and Marcus Stoinis. Hilton Cartwright and Peter Handscomb will look to convert their starts into big scores which they failed to do in the last game. Batting looks good for the side going into the game.
