Struggling Multan Sultans face tough ask against in-form Lahore Qalandars

Chasing 171 runs for victory, Fakhar Zaman and Captain Sohail Akhtar perished for low scores to see Lahore Qalandars lose their first two wickets with 25 runs on the board.Opener Tamim Iqbal looked good in his innings and scored 18 runs off 10 balls with the help of two fours and one six.
Mohammad Hafeez and Ben Dunk came together at the crease with Lahore Qalandars in trouble at 33 for 3 after 5 overs. The duo showed positive intent and put on a 55-run partnership to rebuild the innings for Lahore Qalandars.Wicket-keeper Ben Dunk perished in the 11th over after scoring 20 runs off 19 balls with the help of two boundaries.
For Lahore Qalandars, Mohammad Hafeez delivered a match-winning performance against Peshawar Zalmi. He played exceedingly well and finished the innings with the top-score of 74 not out off 46 balls with the help of nine boundaries and two sixes.
Hafeez stitched crucial partnerships with Samit Patel and David Wiese to help Lahore Qalandars complete the chase in the penultimate overs of the innings.
Samit Patel also chipped in with crucial score of 20 runs off 17 balls with the help of three boundaries, whereas David Wiese chipped in with unbeaten 16 runs off just 7 balls with the help of two sixes.
