Host New Zealand and Bangladesh will lock horns in the opening game of the T20I series at Seddon Park in Hamilton on Sunday.
The home side comprehensively beat Bangladesh by 164 runs to complete a clean sweep in the one-day series. With the plenty of experienced players resting for coming IPL season, Tim Southee will captain the side for the three-match T20I series.
On the other hand, Bangladesh will need to learn from their mistakes and put in an improved performance in this T20I series. Captain Tamim Iqbal will be hoping that the senior players can raise their hand up and put in a decent show in this series opener.
