The second game of the three-match T-20 series between New Zealand and West Indies will be played at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui. New Zealand has a perfect start to their home season; in first T20 they defeated Windies by 5 wickets in a thrilling game of cricket. It was a stunning win as in the rain-interrupted game Kiwis chased down the target of 176 in just 15.2 overs; Ferguson and J Neesham were the stars in the last victory. Besides, it was a special win for Kiwis as they also broke the 7 matches losing streak and get an early lead in the series. Men in black would be high on confidence and they will be hoping for another clinical performance to take 2-0 lead and seal to series. On the other hand, Windies did an amazing job to put 175 on board in the 16 overs and everyone thought it would be an easy win for visitors but Windies bowler made things worse. However, there were plenty of positives for Windies, skipper Kieron Pollard scored his career-best T20I score of 75 in just 37 balls. However, Windies skipper would be hoping for contribution from their top-order batsmen and comeback from the bowling unit after a disappointing performance in the previous game. Windies will be eying for a comeback and level the series.

New Zealand would be very content following their performance in the last T20. Hence, Kiwis are likely to stay with the same eleven in the second T20 of the series. It's a great opportunity for the home side to win this game and a series especially after losing the last two series. In the first T20, chasing down the score of 176, explosive batsman M Guptill departed in first overs and his opening partner Tim Seifert very quickly after that. However, Debutant D Conway carrying on his good domestic form in his first international game and went on scoring 29 balls 41. But later it was an all-rounder duo of Neesham and Santner who rescued Kiwis from a difficult situation. J Neesham was very attacking from the first balls; he scored 24 balls 48 and Santner 31 from 18 balls. All-rounder duo would be hoping to carry on the good form in a second T20 game. Kiwis will be hoping a big contribution from top-order batsmen.
On the bowling front, Lockie Ferguson was outstanding in his 4 over spell, he picked 5 wickets for just 21 runs. His remarkable bowling spell awarded him a man of the match in the last T20. Tim Southee also took two wickets in his 2 overs spell. Debutant k Jamieson was wicketless in last game but bowled with great intent. Kiwis bowlers need to work on their death bowling and they need to use variety in bowling against Windies power-hitter.

West Indies would be very disappointed after losing a game which was supposed to be in their favour after scoring 175 runs in 16 overs. In the first inning opening duo of A Fletcher and B King provided Windies off to a good start scoring quick 58 in just 3.2 overs. However, Windies lost their first five wickets in a span of just one run, a disastrous downfall from 58/0 to 59/5. After the big collapse, it's all up to skipper Kieron Pollard and he single-handedly kept his team in a game with his brilliant knock of 75 runs. He scored 8 bix sixes and 4 four in his astonishing knock and lead the team from the front. F Allien played his role to perfection from other end and scoring easy 26 balls 30 in the 84 run partnership. Opening batsman, A Fletcher played a good knock of 14 balls 34 in his comeback game after 2 years. He will be hoping to carry on the good form.
In the second T20, Windies top-order batsmen need to rectify their mistakes and need to play as per the conditions. There is a huge expectation from the left-handed young duo of S Hetmyer and N Pooran. Both have proved that they can be a match-winner and hence contribution at no 3 & 4 will be very vital. Bowling unit comprising of Sheldon Cottrell, Kesrick Williams and Oshane Thomas need to be very disciplined and smarter in death bowling. Keemo Paul and K Williams went for plenty and they to be economical. Fielding is another concern for Windies and they were very sloppy in last game, skipper K Pollard would want a better intent and performance from their players in fielding.
Key Players: K Pollard, N Pooran, S Cottrell

Weather in Mount Maunganui for the second T20I looks gloomy and there is a 50% chance of rain meaning there could be an interruption in the second T20 also.
Fast bowlers took more wickets at Bay Oval than spinners. 150+ have been scored at this venue in all the last 6 T20I so we expect it to be another high scoring game. 243 is the highest T20I score at this venue.
The 2nd T20I of the series will be played at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui.
The team batting first have won all the six T20Is at Bay Oval. Records are strongly in favour of batting first team and hence we expect both the team would be looking to bat first.
Kiwis did an outstanding job in winning a first T20 and they also got the advantage of home conditions however Windies looks more formidable and they got more match-winner in their rank. Hence, we expect that West Indies will bounce back in second T20 and level the series.
We predict West Indies will win this match.
