New Zealand Women to win this game!

The ODI series is over and South Africa Women would be extremely proud of their efforts and the fact that they were able to whitewash New Zealand Women 3-0 in the series. The action now moves to the Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui where the two sides would be playing the first T20 game in the series. It will be an interesting contest given the fact that New Zealand Women were completely outplayed in all the three games of the series.
New Zealand Women have a very good record against South Africa Women and the team will like to continue with the same after the poor form they showed in the ODIs.
South Africa Women, on the other hand, would be full of confidence going into this game after their win in the ODIs. It is a different ball game in the T20s and Kiwis are likely to play better cricket which will make it an interesting game.

It was a miserable ODI series for the hosts and as Sophie Devine’s side goes into the T20 game they would be looking to put behind the horrors of the ODIs. The team has a wonderful record against the South Africans and the skipper would be looking to extend that in the next game. The side will need a good start from Maddy Green and Suzie Bates at the top.
Their opening pair failed in the ODIs. Sophie Devine, Lauren Down and Katie Perkins will need to focus on building partnerships in the middle order and expect good show from Rachel Priest and Hayley Jensen down the order. In the bowling department Holly Huddleston and Jess Kerr will need to begin well with the new ball for the side in this game. Their performance with the new ball was bad in the ODIs. Lea Tahuhu and Leigh Kasperek didn’t have the best of form during the ODIs and they will need to do well for the side to win in this game.

Dane van Niekerk would be excited going into this game. Her side defied history in the ODIs to win it comprehensively and would be looking to carry on with the same show in the T20s. They have a poor record against the New Zealand Women's side and will be looking to change that with the kind of form they are in at the moment. Laura Wolvaardt and Lizelle Lee showed great form during the ODIs and shall look to do the same opening the batting for the side. Suné Luus, Dane van Niekerk, Nadine de Klerk add strength to the middle order for the side.
Marizanne Kapp and Chloe Tryon will look to play well in the finishers' role. Shabnim Ismail and Marizanne Kapp look in very good form going into the game and will look to strike early with the new ball. Shabnim Ismail and Marizanne Kapp look in very good form going into the game and will look to strike early with the new ball. Masabata Klaas, Ayabonga Khaka and Chloe Tryon also had a good series with the ball and they are likely to put pressure on their opponents in the next game.

The conditions at Mount Maunganui on February 02 would be clear and good for batting. The pitch here offers early assistance to the fast bowlers but overall the conditions are good to bat and we have seen several high scoring games in the past. The side that bats first will need to put up a big score on the board here to win it.
Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui is a typical Kiwi venue that evens it out between the batters and the bowlers. We have seen fast bowlers do well at this venue with the new ball while batters can hit their strokes and the smaller side of the venue makes it easy for the batters to score runs here.
It is the first game of the series and both the sides will be looking to get off to a good start in the game. In the recent games we have seen most teams preferring to chase in the T20s. Hence we expect the side winning the toss to opt for bowling first on this surface.
South Africa Women look in good form as they go into this game after the incredible show they put up in the ODIs in a country where they haven’t won too many games. Their batting form makes them stand out.
New Zealand Women, on the other hand, would look to start afresh in the T20s. They have done well in this format in the recent past and this will give them a slight edge going into this game.
