Pakistan Women started their T20 World Cup campaign with a win over Windies Women but failed to capitalize on the start offered and lost two games in succession. Although they still have a chance of making it to the semi-finals, provided they outshine a clearly evicted Thailand Women by a decent margin to avoid the NRR clash with the remaining teams. Batting wise, some of their players need to level up their performances in order to set a ton of runs on board.
On the other hand, Thailand Women would be looking for a compensatory win in the coming T20 and end their ICC T20 World Cup 2020 campaign on a winning note. They haven’t been able to muster a sole win so far and are thus seated at the bottom of the Group B rankings with three defeats in as many matches and an NRR of -3.992.

Openers Muneeba Ali and Javeria Khan have had some successes with the bat in the ongoing edition of the T20 World Cup 2020. Skipper Javeria Khan, in particular, would be expected to lead upfront as was visible in the last T20 versus South Africa Women wherein he scored 31 runs during her stay onto the crease.
Omaima Sohail and Nida Dar haven’t been able to exhibit their batting prowess and with the upcoming match being a must-win for Pakistan, the duo would be looking to notch up their performances and get the team to a winning position. Aliya Riaz (39) kept the scorecard ticking for Pakistan Women in the lately concluded match and would be hoping to better her striking ability in the forthcoming bout.
Bowling wise, Diana Baig (1/19) scalped economic figures versus Protea Women in the previous match and will be spearheading the bowling attack with her pace prowess. Spinners Anam Amin (1/22) and Syed Shah (1/25) hindered the opposition’s scoring ability and with an experienced Nida Dar leading the spin trio, one can expect Pakistan to wipe out the rival’s middle and tail-end without facing much duress.

Skipper Sornnarin Tippoch had an ordinary day at work in the previous match as she couldn’t do any damage with her all-round prowess and would be itching to put up a cracker of a show amidst the damp conditions of Sydney Showground Stadium.
Ratanaporn Padunglerd (1/19) was the only positive in the bowling department and will she will lead the pack at Junction Oval, the likes of Soraya Lateh and Suleeporn Laomi can also be anticipated to grab notable figures to their name.

There’s a strong possibility that one may witness reduced overs from both the innings. Overall, it will be cloudy throughout with the temperature hovering between 21-22 degrees Celsius.
Batters will need to go berserk from the very moment while it is the bowlers who will dominate on the conditions offered. Any scoreline of 110-120 would be par total on this wicket.
The toss winning team should look to bat first on this occasion. Rains are being depicted during the gameplay which could put a halt to the scoring ability in the latter stages. Bowlers would look to capitalize on the swing and seam offered.
Thailand Women are outwitted in terms of batting and bowling prowess and don’t stand a chance to dominate the Pakistan Women in the upcoming T20. Pakistan would be reliant on the likes of Javeria Khan, Diana Baig, Alia Riyaz and Anam Amin to get their side past the victory margins. They have the talent underneath which can get their side a much-coveted triumph in the game at Sydney Showground Stadium.
