Out of touch RR will feel the heat when they will face the intimidating Delhi Capitals at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Friday evening. RR have lost their last match by a margin of 57 runs against MI, where their bowling and batting failed miserably. Delhi Capitals have maintained their dominance by beating RCB by a huge margin of 59 runs.
Three of DC's batsmen feature in the top ten run-getters in this IPL whereas no one from RR in this list as of now. The match is all set for a big power-hitting show at Sharjah, as batsmen will be deciding the fate of the team.

With one more debilitating loss, Rajasthan Royals may be looking for a turnaround against DC. RR failed against MI after getting hammered by the batsmen and being all out for a total of 136. RR had done a few chopping and changing but was of no help. The top order crumbled and their top three was back in the dugout by the end of 3rd over against MI. Youngster Yashasvi Jaiswal got out for a duck, Sanju Samson followed the footsteps and got out for zero as well.
Captain Steven Smith couldn't save the drowning boat and nicked the ball on a score of 6(7). Jos Buttler maximized to the extent he could and played sensational innings of 70 runs off just 44 deliveries including 5 monstrous sixes. Jofra Archer scored 24 runs off 11 balls and Tom Curran scored 15 runs off 16 balls. Probably the bowling duo was compensating for their ordinary blowing performances. A total of 8 wickets in 5 matches played together is a mark of their inconsistency. Shreyas Gopal was the pick of the bowlers as he scalped 2 consecutive wickets and ended up with a figure of 2 for 28 in 4 overs. Tyagi, the debutant impressed everyone with his bowling and managed to pick one wicket against MI.
A lot of things to look after before taking guards against DC, top-order needs to fire as they did in their last two outings at Sharjah. Bowling options to be tested as their go-to bowlers have failed to deliver. Andrew Tye may get a chance to play. Sanju Samson is the leading run-scorer with 171 runs in 5 matches including 16 sixes. In bowling, Jofra Archer has taken 5 wickets in 5 matches with best figures of 2 wickets for 18 runs.

Whatever DC touch it turns to gold, such form they are in right now. The young brigade led extremely well by the skipper Shreyash Iyer is looking invincible. The flourishing starts given by the openers giving them an upper hand early in the match. Prithvi Shaw scored a 23 ball 42 runs against RCB. Southpaw Shikhar Dhawan yet to score a 50 but giving a good start to the team.
The middle-order of this team is arguably the best in this league. Shreyas Iyer is in sublime form, unfortunately, got out cheaply for 11(13) in the last match. Flamboyant Rishabh Pant is showing his maturity and has scored 171 runs in 5 matches at an average of 35.80. Allrounder Marcus Stoinis scored a fiery 53 runs off 26 balls, his second fifty in this IPL which allowed DC to put a mammoth total of 196/4 against RCB.
Kagiso Rabada is in the form of his life, he took 4 wickets for 24 runs, donned the Purple Cap again. Anrich Nortje probably flanked by Rabada, proving his worth with consistent wicket-taking. He has taken 7 wickets in 5 matches at an economy of 7.45. Axar Patel was the man of the match for amazing bowling figures of 2 for 18 in 4 overs against the dangerous RCB batting order. Kagiso Rabada is the best bowler with 12 wickets in 5 matches and Shreyash Iyer is the leading batsman with an aggregate of 181 runs in 5 matches.
Key players: Kagiso Rabada, Prithvi Shaw, and Shreyas Iyer.

At Sharjah, there is no chance of precipitation on the match day. The temperature in the evening will be around 28°C. Humidity will be more than 60°C and the wind speed will be around 11km/h.
Power hitting is the feature of Sharjah International Stadium. The average score on this ground is 210+ runs. A good batting pitch under lights with a little help to the bowlers. Experienced bowling is required at this venue if want to restrict the team below 200.
Offers a bit of swing in the first two overs and nothing in the latter part of the game. Using angles and variations will be the key to survival. Score as much as possible and pick a few early wickets is the mantra at this ground. Batting first at this ground has better results.
Delhi Capitals overpowered the opponent in every game and looks intimidating, but RR has done astoundingly well at this venue and must be confident with their performances as well. All boil down to the ability to limit the score on the match day and looking at the feeble bowling attack it looks difficult for RR. DC has a good chance to gain the top spot again by thwarting the RR bowlers in this match.
We predict Delhi Capitals to come victorious against RR
