In the match 28th of the IPL 20201, Rajasthan Royals will take on Surrisers Hyderbad at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Sunday. It’s a clash of the bottom two team on the point table, they have struggled to get going in the ongoing season. Now, as the tournament is moving into the second half, they can't afford to lose further games and, both the team will be very desperate to get crucial two points and improve their ranking on the point table.
David Warner led Sunrisers Hyderabad, is generally one of the most consistent teams in IPL however their inconsistency in the middle-order batting has let them down. They have lost few close games including the one in super-over against DC. On the positive side, Bairstow and Williamson are in good form in batting and scoring at a good strike rate. The orange army would be hoping for a perfect game and get the momentum.
On the other hand, RR had a pretty unpredictable season and likewise, opponent batting looks good only in patches, their batting firepower yet to deliver on the promise. Though RR bowling this season looks pretty decent despite the absence of few frontline bowlers. Finding the right combination and consistency will be imperative for RR in its quest for momentum and ascent.

Rajasthan Royals who had handed the wooden spoon in the previous season looked very desperate to set the record straight in the ongoing season. However, their middle-order worries from the previous season continue. At present with just 4 points from six games, RR currently placed at 7th place on the table. In batting, the Royals are relying heavily on their top-order batsmen like Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson. However, the batting duo has struggled to consistently perform and in the middle-order RR got very less firepower who can win the match on their own. Skipper Sanju Samson had a promising start to the season where he played one of the best knocks in the history of IPL and scored 63 balls 119 which includes 7 sixes and 12 fours opposite KXIP. Samson is currently the leading scorer for RR with 229 runs from 6 innings. Opener Jos Buttler, arguably one of the top players in T20 had a quiet season so far. However, he is a world-class player and certainly, his big inning is on cards.
In the middle-order, S Dube, R Parag and R Tewatia have played to make an impact and they would be hoping to score some runs and get the confidence. RR would be relying on D Miller and Chris Morris in the middle-order to play some quick runs. On the bowling front, RR pace attack comprising J Unadakat, Mustafizur, C Sakariya and C Morris were remarkable in the earlier games. C Morris is a leading wicket-taker for RR with 11 wickets from 6 games. C Sakariya was also impressive in his IPL career of just 6 games; he picked 7 wickets and RR’s best bowler so far. He has shown great courage while bowling upfront and in death overs.

Sunrisers Hyderabad had been one of the most consistent team in the last few years edition of IPL and they have been one of the toughest team to beat. However, after a disappointing start this year, the morale of the SRH won't be great. Even after five games, SRH has failed to find the right combination while playing on a slower track. As the tournament moving towards the second half, SRH can afford to lose more games and they need to rectify their mistakes and come back stronger. After getting a win in the fourth game against Punjab, SRH fought well against Capitals in the previous game but they lost the game in super-over. In batting, Warner and Bairstow looked formidable as always and they are scoring with a great strike rate. Notably, Warner is the only batsman who has scored a 500+ run in four consecutive IPL season. J Bairstow is the leading scorer for SRH with 218 runs from 6 innings. Warner failed to score big runs as failed to live up to the reputation of winning the match on his own.
At three, SRH got Kiwis great Kane Willamson, he is very reliable and has consistently scored big runs. In the match opposite DC, Williamson scored 66 off 51 and took the game deep. However, other batsmen comprising V Singh, M Pandey, K Jadhav, and V Shankar failed to contribute consistently and that is one of the reasons for SRH failure. The team would be hoping for some contribution from the middle-order.
In the bowling, usually, SRH bowling attack is one of the best but the pace trio of B Kumar, S Sharma and K Ahmed looked ordinary and failed to pick wickets. B Kumar missed the last couple of game due to injury and he is likely to play this game. Rashid Khan, one of the ICC top-ranked T20I bowlers will lead the spin department. Rashid Khan is a big match-winner and certainly a player to watch out for in any contest. In the previous five games, Rashid bowled with an economy of just 5.60

The weather forecast in Delhi on Sunday is mostly sunny and very warm. The spinners are likely to get more help from the track than the pacers. 156 is the average first inning score at this venue and 145 is the average second inning score.
The match will be played at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
Both the earlier games played at this venue were won by the chasing team very convincingly. So considering that, both team would look to assess the condition and go for a chase. Both the teams will look to bowl first after winning the toss.
RR got depth in their batting and bowling and they got more match-winners when compared with SRH. Besides, considering the team combination and recent form, we expect RR have an advantage going into this game.
We predict Rajasthan Royals will win this match.
