Match Preview

Host South Africa will be looking to continue their decent form when they take on Pakistan in the third T20I played at SuperSport Park in Centurion.

In their previous game, South Africa delivered a clinical performance over Pakistan to level the four-match series.  The team management might bring in one change as Kyle Verreynne might come in place of Wihaan Lubbe, who has failed to make an impression in the first two matches of the T20I series.

On the other hand, Pakistan clearly struggled to post a competitive total on the board after losing too many wickets in the initial Powerplay overs. The visitors might make changes to their playing XI for this high-octane clash.

South Africa

Kyle Verreynne, who made quite an impression with the bat in the final ODI, might be slotted into the XI in place of Wihaan Lubbe.

In the batting department, the side will be relying on the opener Aiden Markram, wicket-keeper Heinrich Klaasen, all-rounder George Linde to deliver the bulk of the runs.

Aiden Markram have finally managed to break his run drought in the T20 format. The 26-year old performed exceedingly well and smashed his second half-century on the bounce. Markram will be keen to continue his rich vein of form with the bat.

Interim Skipper Heinrich Klaasen once again showed maturity with the bat and put in another excellent innings for South Africa. He scored 36 not out off 21 balls with the help of four boundaries and one six.

Bowling all-rounder George Linde smashed unbeaten 20 off 10 balls, whereas Janneman Malan and Wihaan Lube chipped in with scores of 15 and 12 respectively.

In the bowling department, the onus will be on the likes of Beuran Hendricks, Sisanda Magala and Lizaad Williams to make crucial breakthroughs with the new-ball. Playing his only second game, Lizaad bowled well and claimed three wickets.

Left-arm spinner, George Linde was the oustanding bowler for South Africa and picked up important wickets of Mohammad Rizwan, Sharjeel Khan and Muhammad Hafeez
