In-form South Africa eye clean sweep against beleaguered Sri Lanka
Expect South Africa to inflict 2-0 whitewash over Sri Lanka in Test series.

Host South Africa will be keen to complete a clean sweep when they take on Sri Lanka in the second and final game of the Test series at the Wanderers in Johannesburg from Sunday.
For South Africa, everything went according to plan on their favorite hunting venue-Centurion after hammering Sri Lanka by an innings and 45 runs in the opening Test. With this result, the home side has managed to go 1-0 up in the two-match Test series. Captain Quinton de Kock will be hoping that the side can maintain their focus and intensity in this series finale.
On the other hand, Sri Lanka were plagued by injuries during this opening Test. Dhananjaya de Silva, Kasun Rajitha and Lahiru Kumara sustained injuries during Centurion Test and will not play the second and final game of the series. Captain Dimuth Karunaratne will be certainly making changes to their playing XI for this game.

Aiden Markam looked fluent in his innings and notched up a crucial half-century. He scored 68 runs off 94 balls with the help of 14 boundaries. Markram’s partner, Dean Elgar, played well and fell five runs short of a richly-deserved century. Left-hander smashed sixteen boundaries in his innings.
For South Africa, Faf du Plessis was the star performer with the bat and smashed his career-best innings of 199 runs off 276 balls with the help of twenty-four boundaries. He stitched important partnerships of Temba Bavuma, Wiann Mulder and Keshav Maharaj to see South Africa post a mammoth 621 all out in 142.1 overs.
Temba Bavuma also managed to break his lean run with the bat and smashed 71 runs off 125 balls with the help of seven boundaries. Tail-ender Keshav Maharaj also enjoyed batting in placid conditions prevalent at Centurion and smashed his career-best score of 73 runs off 106 balls with the help of six fours and two sixes.

The visitors will make three to four changes for this second and final game of the Test series.
Lahiru Thiramanne might be slotted into the XI after Dhananjaya de Silva was ruled out of the remainder of the series, while Dushmantha Chameera and Suranga Lakmal will replace injured pacers Kasun Rajitha and Lahiru Kumara.
In the opening game of the series, Sri Lanka won the toss and opted to bat first. The Islanders managed to post a competitive score of 396 runs in their first innings, courtesy splendid half-centuries from Dhananjaya de Silva, Dinesh Chandimal and Dasun Shanaka.
In their second innings, opener Kusal Perera produced a quick-fire innings of 64 runs off 87 balls with the help of 10 boundaries. Debutant Wanindu Hasaranga managed to smash his maiden half-century. The rest of the batting order failed to put up a fight against South Africa’s disciplined bowling attack.
In the bowling department, Leg-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga claimed four wickets after toiling hard for almost 45 overs. Left-arm pacer Vishwa Fernando claimed three wickets, whereas Dasun Shanaka claimed two wickets.
