South Africa women eye T20I series whitewash over Pakistan women
Expect South Africa women to inflict 3-0 whitewash over Pakistan women in the T20I series.

Host South Africa women will be looking to complete a whitewash in the T20I series when they take on Pakistan women in the third and final game played at Kingsmead Cricket Stadium in Durban on Wednesday.
In the second T20I game, South Africa women registered 18-run win over Pakistan women, courtesy Tazmin Brits half-century and Shabnim Ismail’s five wicket haul. With this result, South Africa women have already clinched the T20I series with a game to spare.
On the other hand, Pakistan women will need to make change to their batting order in a bid to earn a consolation victory in this dead rubber. Captain Aliya Riaz will have to come up with better plans in order to help Pakistan end their winless streak.

Opener Lizelle Lee will be looking to get some runs after perishing for low scores in the first two games of the T20I series.
Lee’s opening partner, Tazmin Brits, showed excellent form with the bat and notched up his second consecutive half-century of the series. She played exceedingly well and finished the innings with the top-score of 66 runs off 58 balls with the help of eight fours and one six.
Marizanne Kapp, Laura Wolvaardt, Sune Luus and Mignon Du Preez scored vital runs to see South Africa women post 133 runs for the loss of five wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
In the bowling department, the onus will be on the likes of Shabnim Ismail, Ayabonga Khaka and Marizanne Kapp to make crucial breakthroughs.
Spearhead Shabnim Ismail was the standout bowler for the side and finished with excellent figures of 5 for 12 in her four overs. Marizanne Kapp and Masabata Klaas bowled well and claimed one wicket apiece.

In the previous encounter, Pakistan women won the toss and elected to bowl first.
The decision proved to be correct one as spinner Anam Amin, pacers Diana Baig and Aiman Anwer produced excellent opening spells to reduce South Africa women for 38 for 2 after 9.2 overs.
The visitors erred in their disciplines and conceded close to 100 runs in the final 10 overs. For Pakistan women, left-arm spinner Anam Amin was the best bowler on display and finished with figures of 2 for 21 in her four overs. Besides Anam, Aiman Anwer, Aliya Riaz and Nashra Sandhu bowled well and claimed one wicket each.
Chasing 134 for victory, openers Omaima Sohail and Ayesha Zafar perished for low scores to see Pakistan women get off to a poor start.
Wicket-keeper Muneeba Ali and Nida Dar also departed in quick succession to see Pakistan women reeling at 20 for 4 after 6 overs.
Captain Aliya Riaz and Kainat Imtiaz came together and put on a 28-run partnership to lead the fightback for Pakistan women. Kainat Imtiaz looked good with the bat and perished in 12th over after scoring 26 runs off 31 balls.
With the side in deep trouble at 48 for 5 after 12.2 overs, Ayesha Naseem came to the crease and produced an excellent partnership of 65 runs with Aliya Riaz.
Despite valiant performances from Aliya Riaz and Ayesha Naseem, Pakistan women could only post 115 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their full quota of overs.
For Pakistan women, Aliya Riaz played well and finished the innings with the top-score of 39 runs off 40 balls with the help of three boundaries and one six. She was well supported by rookie Ayesha Naseem, who chipped in with 33 runs off 22 balls with the help of two fours and one six.
