T&Cs apply, 18+
It is the big clash at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia Region Final where hosts Singapore would be taking on pre-tournament favorites Nepal. The hosts have done well in their three games winning two of them and one being washed away by rain. Nepal after their bad start where they lost the opening game has regained their form and momentum with back to back wins in the last two games.
It will be the first T20i clash between the two sides and both of them have been shaping well. Singapore would be aware of the fact that Nepal has several experienced players in its ranks and would be a tough opponent to defeat. The hosts would like to continue with their good form and this promises to make the contest exciting.

Amjad Mahboo’s side had an easy chase against Malaysia in their last game. The side has played well and yet to lose a game. Their batsmen, as well as bowlers, have put in a good performance so far in the series and the skipper would want them to continue with the same form in the upcoming game.
Surendran Chandramohan played well in the last game and received good support from Manpreet Singh and Tim David. Rohan Rangarajan missed out in the last game but he scored in the first one. The batting looks good for the side with Chetan Suryawanshi, Anantha Krishna and Janak Prakash in the lower middle order and they would have to bat well against the strong bowling line-up that Nepal has.
It was a great bowling performance from skipper Amjad Mahboob, Vinoth Baskaran and Selladore Vijayakumar in the last game and they restricted the opponents. Janak Prakash and Krishna also supported them well and they have good quality in their attack going into this game.
Amjad Mahboo (c), Chetan Suryawanshi, Rohan Rangarajan, Tim David, Surendran Chandramohan, Manpreet Singh, Janak Prakash, Anantha Krishna, Anish Paraam, Vinoth Baskaran, Selladore Vijayakumar
Skipper Paras Khadka made his comeback in the last game and would have been proud with the way his side played. There were good performances from all the players that say them win against Kuwait. They would face their toughest opponent in the next game and the skipper would want the side to carry on with the same form.
Khadka made a brilliant fifty in the last game and was well supported by Sarad Vesawkar and Gyanendra Malla. The batting unit looks all settled as they have the likes of Rohit Paudel, Dipendra Singh Airee, and Karan KC in the squad and they would count their chances against Nepal.
Bowling performance was good for the side in the past game Basant Regmi and their star bowler Sandeep Lamichhane troubling the opponents. Lamichhane’s return to form would have made the side confident. Having Sompal Kami and Abinash Bohara add punch to their bowling attack ahead of the game.

It is expected to rain on July 28 at Singapore and the overcast conditions would make batting tough on this surface. We have seen teams struggling with the bat in overcast conditions so far in the tournament. The side batting first will need to see off the new ball and a score of around 150 runs should be a fighting total.

The Indian Association Ground, Singapore is a good wicket to bat on but in overcast conditions, it has been assisting the fast bowlers. The spinners have also played an effective role as the ball becomes old. Batsmen would have to hold their ground to do well on this surface.
In the event of rain and overcast conditions, the side batting first has struggled in this tournament as the ball moves around early in the morning. We expect the skipper winning the toss to invite the opponents into a bat to try and get them out cheaply.
It is a big clash and given the fact that both Singapore and Nepal have built the right kind of momentum it is expected to be the best game of the tournament. Singapore is so far undefeated in the tournament while Nepal has lost one of its games. Nepal though has more experienced players in its team and given the kind of form we have seen from them in the last two games they would definitely start as favorites to win this one.
We expect Nepal to win!
