St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and Barbados Tridents will take on each other in the match number 11 of the ongoing CPL Tournament. Both the teams will be meeting second time within a week this season, Trident won the game by 6 runs during the first meeting against Patriots. Patriots had a very disappointing ongoing season so far as they lost all the three games; they are at the bottom of the point table. Patriots batting heavy unit comprising Chris Lynn and E Lewis failed to score profoundly in earlier games and that’s the main reason for Patriots failure. R Emrit-led side can't afford another loss and hence both their batsmen and bowlers need to rectify their mistakes and come back strongly against defending CPL champion Barbados Tridents. They will seek resurgence and open the account in the CPL2020.
Barbados Tridents, on the other hand, following an ideal start to the ongoing tournament lost consecutive two matches. Now, with two points from three games, Tridents are at placed fifth on the point table. Tridents in the previous two games failed to strike with their potent spik attack comprising Rashid khan, M Santner and Hayden Walsh Jr. However, Tridents is a champion side and they also got experience batsmen and all-rounder’s in their rank. Skipper J Holder would be eying for a comeback and register the second victory of the season against potentially weaker Patriots team.

Patriots who had a decent season of CPL2019 where they were ended the season as a third-best team, failed to deliver similar performance in CPL2002. They had a poor outing in their first three games of CPL2020, lost against Barbados Tridents, Guyana Amazon Warriors and St Lucia Zouks respectively. In the first game against Tridents, chasing the score of 153, Patriots were short of 6 runs, whereas, in the second game batting heavy side managed to put just 127 on the boards and in last game versus Zouks, Patriots lost by 10 runs. Patriots had their chances in all the three games but they failed to carry the momentum.
In batting unit, E Lewis with 71 runs and B Dunk with just 68 runs from the three games are the leading scorer for the side. Not a single Patriots batsmen managed to cross fifty run mark and that truly justifies the collective failure of batting unit. However, Patriots got Chris Lynn and E Lewis in their ranks, both are very highly skilful T20 batsman and can take the game away from the opponent. In the lower order, the team would be hoping for some quick for quick firepower inning from Kieran Powell and Denesh Ramdin.
Skipper R Emrit is leading the bowling attack; picked 6 wickets from previous three games. S Tanvir with 4 wickets from two games is a second-best Patriots bowler. Bowling unit needs to be at their best against the batting heavy Trident side.

Barbados Tridents after a good start to the CPL 2020 season, lost consecutive matches against Zouks and Knight Riders. However, Tridents would be very confident when they face off home side Patriots following success in a first meeting of the season. Tridents side is known for the great all-rounders in their unit; Corey Anderson, Jason Holder, Ashly Nurse and M Santner. All these players got plenty of experience playing in T20 league and their experience will be very vital for Tridets to get back on winning track.
Skipper J Holder is a leading scorer for the side; scored 99 runs from three games. He will be aiming to carry on the good form. In the previous game, chasing a mammoth target of 186, opener J Charles smashed 33 balls 52. However, other batsmen failed to carry the same momentum. Windies star player, Shai Hope has also struggled to score freely and he will be eyeing for a big knock.
In the bowling, Tridents got ICC T20I top-ranked bowler, Rashid Khan. He is a very talented and skilful bowler, its very difficult to score against his bowling. Though he is not at his best so far, he is the biggest threat for any opponent. His match-winning spell is on cards. Rashid Khan picked 4 wickets from three games. M Santner will be another good spin all-rounder in Trident unit.

Pitch is expected to get slower as the game progress. The weather will be partly cloudy with a couple of showers.
The match will be played at Queen's Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad.
From the last 7 CPL games at this venue, 5 times batting the first team won the game, while twice by a chasing team. Considering the records at this venue, both team would be looking to bat first and put a good score on board. Hence, the team winning the toss would like to bat first.
Though St Kitts and Nevis Patriots hold great win record against Tridents, lately they have failed to consistently deliver a good performance. Both the team are nearly sailing in same boats, however, Tridents have beaten Patriots earlier in this season and that will give visitors a huge advantage going into this game.
we predict Barbados Tridents to win this game.
