The 9th game of the Vincy Premier League 2020 will be a big one. As Salt Pond Breakers take on the La Soufriere Hikers it will be a contest between two sides that have played remarkable cricket so far in the season. The Salt Pond Breakers are coming into this game after a massive win against the Fort Charlotte Strikers while the La Soufriere Hikers won a thriller against the Dark View Explorers.
La Soufriere Hikers have a very strong batting line-up and blessed to have powerful hitters of the ball on their side.
The Salt Pond Breakers, on the other hand, have the best bowling line-up among all the sides which will make the battle very interesting. It will be interesting to see which of the two sides is able to better hold on to its nerves in the next game.

Sunil Ambris would be a happy man with his side earning the second consecutive victory of the season as they defeated the Fort Charlotte Strikers by 20 runs in their last game. It was a good show from their batsmen and bowlers and the skipper would look forward to maintaining the same momentum against a side that has been magnificent so far.
Sunil Ambris returned to form in the last game and along with Rickford Walker has to provide the side with a good start. The latter has missed out on both the games and shall look for a better show.
The middle-order looks good for the side with Urnel Thomas, Donwell Hector, and Delorn Johnson in the side. Johnson played a good knock in the last game this will make him very confident.
Their bowlers did a good job in the last game especially Ambris and Jeremy Layne and they will be looking to continue with the same form against a strong batting line-up. Delorn Johnson also bowled well in the game. Benninton Stapleton and Wesrick Strough need to bowl tighter lines in the next game for the side to win the contest.
It was another remarkable win for Desron Maloney’s side against the Dark View Explorers. In a high scoring game the side held onto its nerves in the final stages to register a big win in the game. Maloney would be aware of the fact that his side will be up against a team that matches them on most counts and would be looking for a better show from their end.
Batting looks very strong for the side with Salvan Browne playing well and he will look to provide a good start in the company of his skipper Maloney. Dillon Douglas played a match-winning knock in the last game. Dean Browne, Cosmus Hackshaw and Rawdon Bentick add to the strength of the batting down the order.
Their bowlers struggled in the last game and shall look to make amends in this one. Othneil Lewis and Dean Browne bowled well and shall look to maintain the same rhythm. But the side would need a good show from Douglas, Rayan Williams and Jeremy Haywood in the next game.

The skies would be clear with some clouds at St. Vincent on May 24 and this is likely to offer some assistance to the bowlers. It hasn’t been the easiest surface to bat on so far and the batsmen will need to adjust to the pace and bounce to score runs. Any score of 80 or more will be a fighting total on this surface.
The small size of the ground at Arnos Vale Sporting Complex, St. Vincent makes it a good venue for the big hitters of the ball. We have seen the track surprise the batsmen as there is always that extra movement and also the ball tends to stop on the batsmen which is why spinners love bowling on this surface.
This has been a tournament where sides chasing the score have done well. There is support for bowlers initially and this makes it tough for the batsmen to set a target score. Given this scenario we expect the side that wins the toss to invite the opponents to bat first in the game.
It is Battle Royale in the Vincy Premier League as two of the best teams would be playing against each other for the first time. Salt Pond Breakers have already displayed their skills as a team of utility players. La Soufriere Hikers, on the other hand, are a team in quintessential T10 mode with their batsmen playing aggressive cricket. It is a close call between the two sides at the moment but the Hikers will have a slight advantage going into this game.
