In the 47th match of IPL 2020, Sunrises Hyderabad (RCB) and Delhi Capital (DC) will take on each other on Monday at Dubai Cricket Stadium. SRH after winning just 4 matches from 11 found themselves in a difficult situation on the point table. Now, logically to make it playoffs they have to win all the remaining three games including this game and besides they need the results of other teams in their favour. SRH side led by David Warner would be very disappointed following their defeat by 12 runs while chasing a tricky score of just 127 against KXIP. SRH batsmen failed to close the games despite being in the driver seat for 36 overs of the contest. Now, in the virtually knockout game, they are taking on the formidable Delhi capitals and hence SRH need to play their A-game to get another 2 points and stay alive in the tournament.
On the other hand, Delhi Capitals has looked very solid in the IPL 2020; with 7 victories from 11 matches, they are strongly placed at the second position on the point table. DC opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan has smashed record consecutive T20 centuries in the season and pacer Kagiso Rabada is leading a bowling attack stupendously, he is leading wicket-taker with 23 wickets from 11 games. Dhawan and Rabada were the key architects of DC success so far this season. Now, as the tournament moved to the last stage of the league games, many teams are contesting for the top two slots and hence Delhi capital would be eying for yet another win to cement their spot in top two. Skipper S Iyer led DC will aim for clinical performance and seek resurgence against unspirited SRH.

Sunrises Hyderabad after loosing initial two games did a great job to register a few wins. However, in the last three games, they lost two matches by a very close margin despite being in a good position. David Warner and co would be very hurt by a loss in last games against KXIP in chasing a target of just 127. David Warner and J Bairstow got to a good start and scored 56 runs for the first wicket however the following batsmen failed to score remaining 70 odd runs with required run-rate below 6. However, SRH will take positives of defeating the very same opponent in their first clash this season. In batting, SRH is relying heavily on their opening duo; David Warner and J Bairstow. Usually, the batting duo score 70% runs for their team, but D Warner is not in his best form and has struggled to score freely on a slower track. In IPL 2020, David Warner scored 370 runs at an average of 37 and his opening partner J Bairstow smashed 345 runs from 11 games. Batting duo would be eyeing for match-winning partnership.
In the middle-order, Manish Pandey and Vijay Shankar have done a decent job. Batting duo had a match-winning partnership of 140 against Rajasthan Royals. However, SRH lacks firepower in the end overs to score some quick runs. Bowling attack looked very ordinary after key pacer B Kumar left the squad following injury. SRH got ICC T20 top-ranked bowler Rashid Khan in their rank however the opponent team has got very cautious approach against this great spinner and made sure he doesn’t get many wickets. Despite this, Rashid khan is leading wicket-taker for SRH with 14 wickets so far. Pacer T Natrajan has shown some intent and smartness in picking 11 wickets so far this sean. Other pacers, S Sharma and K Ahmed need to step up in their most crucial game.

The southpaw will be hoping to carry on good form and win more games for his team. Another opening P Shaw has been struggling to score freely and his replacement A Rahane also failed to live up to the expectation.
The pace bowling attack led by Kagiso Rabada and A Nortje has been the best pace duo of the ongoing IPL, they have bowled with great accuracy and pace. The weather forecast in Dubai on Tuesday is mostly sunny and very warm. It is expected to be very humid. The track at Dubai stadium tends to be a good wicket for batting upfront. However, the spinners are known to play their part as the game progresses.
The match will be played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai.
From the earlier IPL games at this venue, more than 50 per cent of games won by the team batting first and hence both the team will look to bat first after winning the toss and score good first-inning runs.
We expect it to be a thrilling game of cricket as both the teams got great batsmen in their rank. However, considering the batting firepower and pace attack Delhi Capital unit looks much stronger than SRH. Hence, Delhi Capitals will have an advantage going into this game.
We predict Delhi Capitals will win this match.
