Knight Riders are led by one of the enigmatic all-rounder Dwayne Bravo. He is one of the most experienced T20 players with more than 400 matches to his name. Darren Bravo, Kieron Pollard, Lendl Simmons, and Denesh Ramdin will form the core of batting line-up as the local players and have experience of representing various T20 leagues. They will miss the services of Kiwi trio of Brendan McCullum, Colin Munro, and Jimmy Neesham. Brendon McCullum retired from all forms of cricket whereas Munro and Neesham will join the team in the second week owing to their national duties. Javon Searles, Pakistani Mohammed Hasnain, and USA`s Ali Khan are the pace bowlers expected to play in the starting XI. Sunil Narine will lead the spin bowling attack of the team and will look to bamboozle the batsmen.
