Host West Indies will be looking to continue their winning ways when they take on Sri Lanka in the 2nd game of the one-day series at Antigua on Friday.
In the series opener, West Indies outclassed Sri Lanka in all three departments. Captain Kieron Pollard will be pleased with his side’s splendid performance and will be hoping that they can maintain their disciplines for the remaining two fixtures.
On the other hand, Sri Lanka capitulated badly in the middle overs after getting off to a start. Besides openers Dimuth Karunaratne and Danushka Gunathilaka, none of players managed to get a big score. The team management might go for some changes in the playing XI.

The home side may bring in off-spinner Kevin Sinclair in place of medium-pacer Romario Shepherd, who leaked a lot of runs in the series opener.
Jason Holder and Alzarri Joseph delivered excellent performances to restrict Sri Lanka to a modest score of 232 runs. Holder was the pick of the bowlers and claimed two wickets. Besides Holder, Fabian Allen, Alzarri Joseph and Kieron Pollard claimed one wicket apiece.
Chasing 233 runs for victory, openers Evin Lewis and Shai Hope got the off to an excellent start and put on a 143-run partnership to see West Indies take control of the game.
Shai Hope looked in fluent touch with the bat and smashed his 10th century in one-day internationals. He played exceedingly and finished the innings with the top-score of 110 runs off 133 balls with the help of 12 fours and 1 six. He was well supported by Evin Lewis, who chipped in with 65 runs off 90 balls with the help of four fours and two sixes.
Coming in at no.3, Darren Bravo played well and chipped in with unbeaten 33 off 47 balls with the help of two fours and one six. He was well supported by Jason Mohammed, who chipped in with 13 not out off 15 balls.

Lack of runs from the middle-order has been Achilles heel for Sri Lanka so far. Senior players must raise their game for Sri Lanka if they aim to level the series.
In the series opener, openers Danushka Gunathilaka and Dimuth Karunaratne got the side off to a decent start. The duo put on a 105-run partnership in space of 19 overs.
Danushka Gunathilaka is the certainly in-form player for Sri Lanka and smashed 55 runs off 61 balls with the help of seven boundaries. Left-hander was dismissed by obstructing the field. His partner, Dimuth Karunaratne, chipped in with a crucial half-century off 60 balls.
Besides openers, rookie Ashen Bandara once again showed a lot of fight and determination and smashed his maiden half-century in his limited-overs cricket. He scored 50 runs off 60 balls with the help of four fours. It was due to Bandara efforts that the Islanders managed to push their score beyond 200-run mark.
In the bowling department, the side will be looking towards the likes of Dushmantha Chameera, Wanindu Hasaranga and Lakshan Sadakan to pick up key wickets in this contest.
