It was expected to be a close contest between the two sides in the T20 series given West Indian record in this format but the hosts have been in bad shape in the two games that have been played so far. They have handed India an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. West Indies’ batting has struggled in both the games. Indians would be happy to have won the second game convincingly after their batsmen struggled in the first win.
In the last five games between the two sides, West Indies have had to suffer losses in each one of them. The team is struggling to find a settled combination and their batting has lacked direction. Indians are expected to go for the kill in the next game and it remains to be seen how the West Indian sides approach the next game.

Carlos Brathwaite finds his side in trouble ahead of the last T20 after having already lost the series. His batsmen have failed in both the games while his bowlers proved ineffective in the last game. As he leads his side in the final game he would want them to play for pride and deliver the results in front of their fans.
Nicholas Pooran and Rovman Powell did well in the last game but was one more failure for Evin Lewis and Sunil Narine at the top. The side is suffering from the problem of poor starts and they have to address this in the next game. Kieron Pollard has looked in good form and he along with Shimron Hetmyer and Brathwaite will have to do well in the next game.
In the bowling department, Oshane Thomas and Sheldon Cottrell did well in the last game and Sunil Narine also troubled the Indians in the middle overs. But the side would expect a better show from the likes of Keemo Paul and skipper Brathwaite as the Indian batting line-up would come hard at them.

Virat Kohli would have enjoyed the win over West Indies in the second game as it was a convincing one unlike the first one. They batted well and were in a comfortable position when play was disrupted by bad weather. He would like his side to carry on with their good form in the next game and win it.
It was a good show with the bat from India’s famed Top 3 – Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli did well in the game. But the middle order disappointed with their performance barring Krunal Pandya. Rishab Pant, Manish Pandey and Ravindra Jadeja will need to bat well in the next game for the side.
Washington Sundar and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar bowled well in the last game. Krunal Pandya was also looked good containing the opponents. Together with Khaleel Ahmed and Navdeep Saini they will look to bowl well in the next game and win it for the side.

There are chances of light showers at Guyana on August 06. The pitch has always been a challenging one to bat on where there is initial movement offering bowlers that extra bit of help. The side batting first would be eying a score in excess of 150 runs to win here.

Providence Stadium, Guyana has been a good ground for the fast bowlers and they have always found assistance from the wicket. The batsmen don’t have it easy on this ground and have to build their innings slowly. Spinners have used the slowness of the surface in the latter stages to good effect.

The performance of West Indies in the two games played so far has been disappointing to say the least. Their batting has been very disappointing in both the games. While the Indian side didn’t register a convincing win in the first game it was a great effort in the second one where their batsmen and bowlers delivered. Given the form that the two sides have shown, the Indian team would start as favorites to win this one.
