Ireland came quite close to upset the hosts in the second ODI, which eventually won by the hosts by 1 wicket and just one ball remaining at Barbados. Though they lost the game, they put up a collective effort as Stirling scored 63 off 79, Simi Singh took 3 wickets, and McBrine (2 for 37) and McCarthy (2 for 28) also contributed with the ball.
