It is the third and final game of the ODI series and it has been nicely set up. If the West Indies Women won a thriller in the first game India Women came back strongly in the second game to earn a convincing 53 run win in a low scoring encounter. It is a winner takes it all game as the sides again meet at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua and both sides are expected to play hard cricket to win this game.
The Indian team has been playing good cricket in the ODIs for quite some time and their last game’s performance was in line with the form we have seen from the side in the recent games.
West Indies Women, on the other hand, have been struggling in this format and this would be a big test for them in the next game. The hosts would need to play out of their skins to win the next game.

It was a horrible show with the bat for Stafanie Taylor’s side in the last game and the skipper would be very upset with the way her side went about chasing a small total. They failed to build partnerships that cost them the game. Taylor would want her girls to come out with this loss and go into the series decider with a positive frame of mind. Shemaine Campbelle and Stafanie Taylor held their ground for a while but the rest of the batting collapsed in the last game.
The side would need a good start at the top from Natasha McLean and Stacy-Ann King who looks out of form at the moment. Kyshona Kinight, Chedean Nation and Sheneta Grimmond will also have to play well going into this game. Aaliyah Alleyne and Stacy-Ann King did well with the new ball and put pressure on the Indian side. Shabika Gajnabi and Afy Fletcher also bowled extremely tight lines. With the likes of Anisa Mohammad and Taylor also looking in good form with the ball the side would hope to dismiss the Indian side cheaply in the next game.
Afy Fletcher, Hayley Matthews, Kyshona Knight, Shabika Gajnabi, Chedean Nation, Anisa Mohammed, Stacy-Ann King, Aaliyah Alleyne, Shemaine Campbelle, Natasha McLean, Stafanie Taylor

Mithali Raj’s side made a good comeback in the last game after having lost the first game narrowly. It was a good effort from her bowlers as the team was able to win by a big margin despite putting up a small total on the board. She would want her side to maintain the same momentum and aim at winning the series 2-1. Jemimah Rodrigues and Priya Punia missed out in the last game but they have done well in the recent months at the top. Punam Raut, Raj and Harmanpreet Kaur played extremely well in the last game.
The side has good batters down the order in Deepti Sharma and Taniya Bhatia and they will look to make their contributions in the game. It was a superb bowling effort from the Indian side in the last game led by Jhulan Goswami and Shikha Pandey. They picked early wickets and this was followed by Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Poonam Yadav and Deepti Sharma destroying the West Indian middle order. The side would want the bowlers to repeat this magic in the next game.

The skies would by and large be clear on November 06 at Antigua and there would be the odd clouds. The pitch has been a challenging one to bat on this series where the slowness has tied down the batters. It is likely to remain the same in the next game and a score of 230 and above would be a challenging one.
Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua is a batting friendly wicket but this hasn’t been the case in this series. The outfield is fast on this ground and the fast bowlers don’t get many bargains. The slowness of the surface helps the spinners who are able to trouble batters with their variation.
This pitch is a tricky one as it has slowed down in the second innings in both the games and made batting look difficult. The two games played here in the series have gone in favor of the team that has opted to bat first. The skipper winning the toss would elect to bat first on this track.
India Women made a strong statement with their win in the second ODI of the series after having lost the first one by a single run. They were ruthless with the ball and never allowed West Indies Women to settle down.
As the sides now play the series decider the pressure would be on the hosts to come out of the defeat. India Women have been in good form over the last few months and this would make them favorites in the game and also to take the series 2-1.
