The Pakistanis didn’t do well in the warm-up game and lost against Bangladesh Women and they would be up against a team that has already won its first game.

Pakistan Women have a poor record against West Indies Women and have defeated them only twice in the last 10 games. Their record against higher-ranked sides is also pretty dismal as their players have continuously succumbed to pressure. Stafanie Taylor's side has started the tournament on the right note. They won the last game against Thailand Women convincingly by 7 wickets and seems like they have all their bases covered at the moment. They have a good record against Pakistan Women and the skipper would look to continue with that dominance in the next game.
Openers Lee-Ann Kirby and Hayley Matthews didn’t score runs in the last game and they will be eager to contribute in the next one. Skipper Taylor and Shemaine Campbelle played well in the last game and this will add strength to their middle order. With good hitters of the ball like Deandra Dottin, Chedean Nation and Chinelle Henry in the lower order, they will pose a challenge for the Pakistani attack. It was a wonderful spell of fast bowling from Shamilia Connell and Chinelle Henry that put them on the course of victory in the last game.
The pair would look to retain the same form. Afy Fletcher and Anisa Mohammed bowled extremely tight spells and found good support from Taylor. With a bowling attack looking all poised they will look to earn their second victory of the season.
Afy Fletcher, Hayley Matthews, Shamilia Connell, Chedean Nation, Chinelle Henry, Anisa Mohammed, Deandra Dottin, Shakera Selman, Shemaine Campbelle, Lee Ann Kirby, Stafanie Taylor
Bismah Maroof’s side will be up against a big challenge in the first game against West Indies Women. They don’t have the best of records against the side and will need to come up with exceptional performance in the next game.
Their batters have to do well for the side to win this one. The side will need a good start from Javeria Khan and Ayesha Naseem. Khan was the only batter who did well in the warm-up game. In the middle order, the likes of Omaima Sohail, Maroof and Nida Dar need to perform after their recent run of poor form.
Sidra Nawaz and Aiman Anwer with their hitting abilities would look to do well in the end overs. The side will need a good show with the new ball from Diana Baig and Anam Amin. They had done well in the warm-up game and shall have to inflict early wounds on West Indies. Aiman Anwer, Nida Dar and Aliya Riaz will need to provide good support in the middle overs and check the run rate of their hard-hitting opponents.

There would be clouds over Canberra on February 26 and there are chances of rains during the game. The pitch would be a difficult one to bat on where the bowlers are likely to receive good rewards from the surface. It might be another low scoring encounter and the side batting first would be happy with a score above 140 runs.
Manuka Oval, Canberra is a tough wicket for the batters and bowlers tend to get good rewards here. The average first innings score is 131 runs at this venue. The smaller size of the square boundaries does offer batters scoring opportunities but they need to be watchful against the moving ball.
The trend in women’s cricket has been of sides winning the toss and putting the opponents into bat. At Canberra the weather is expected play a role at the toss. With rains and overcast conditions predicted for the side the side that wins the toss would like to take advantage of it by inviting the opposition to bat first
West Indies Women have started the tournament on a good note winning the first game and they will look to continue with their performance in the next game.
Pakistan Women, on the other hand, have not been in the best of form over the last few months and they will need to play exceedingly well to win this game.
As things stand at the moment West Indies Women would start as favorites in the next game.
