IPL (Indian Premier League) 2019
It is that point of the year again! Eight IPL franchises are gearing up for IPL 2019. Once the commerce window closed, the player auctions happened on 18th of Dec 2018. The franchises spent a complete of over 1 Billion INR within the auctions to decide on the specified team combination. The settled teams created a number of changes within the commerce window and therefore had a restricted take into the auctions whereas those lower order of the table auctioned quite heavily in search of a fit within the team setup. It will be an exciting time for cricket lovers all around the world as the Indian Premier League approaches!
The 2018 season saw the comeback of the 2 major IPL franchises Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR). CSK went all the way to secure their third IPL title in nine appearances defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad within the finals. Kane Williamson and St. Andrew Tye was the Orange and Purple cap holders. Sunil Narine bagged the foremost Valuable Player award whereas Rishabh Pant was the rising Player of the last season.
Although this year’s IPL is incompatible with General Elections in Bharat happening in April-May, the BCCI proclaimed that IPL-2019 can happen entirely in Bharat beginning 23rd March 2019, however, this event could cause a modification of venues which is able to have an effect on the IPL sporting predictions. Being the defensive champions CSK can get to host the tournament opener and therefore the Final to happen between 12-15 May.
